I've driven one and it's one of the better FWD cars out there.

As much as I don't care for some of the things that were/are done to it, it's not about what our tastes and likes are; its about what you like on it. Just do whatever will make you happy and, mostly, will make you proud to own and drive a car that is unique to you. That's what mods are for.

I have had a few fast, well put together Honda's over the course of 13 years. Sorry bro, but your car is the epitome of rice. But if you think it's cool then so be it. But honestly your car reminds me of why I left my beloved Honda world.

 

The only thing I can see you guys thinking its rice is the wheels, tails, and possibly the exhaust (until you hear it of course). Everything else you dont like you wouldnt even see while I'm driving, so whats it matter. If my rims were different, you'd all probably have a different view of it.. But now that cant happen because the state wants nearly $400 of my hard earned money for bullshit reasons, this ******* system sucks

 

Rice is rice. The rims are gross, the headlights, the tail lights, etc. It's all about the whole package.

The lighting is all rice to me. WTF is that spiderweb in your interior? is it to lay sweaters out to dry?

 

I already got decent love and hate on CI. Here it just looks like mostly hate, but I already knew most of you hate the Civic crowd.. Its a chance I took. And the stabilizers make the body more rigid. What do you think they do?

The old ones were old and faded and gross, and I was missing one. New set just has dog hairs
The tails I put on were to compliment the LEDs, as you can see through the tails and see the bulbs. Contemplating getting them tinted. I dont think I'll ever understand the comments regarding the reverse lights.. Too bright?
The halos go perfect with these style headlights, as they are already circular in shape. Plus you saw my old headlights.. Are you saying that my old faded + cracked OEM headlights are better than my new ones?
And its not like i chose those rims specifically, and stepped back and said, "yeah, that looks real good". They arent horrible in my opinion.. I've seen much worse

Currently I'm looking for a complete ITR lip kit. I already have a 98+ rear bumper to fit the rear valances

 

I mostly hate the taillights and rims. You could expect this criticism from a RX8 site when you are showing off an older honda. I don't hate hondas, I would have painted it, cleaned it, blacked the taillights, got some small used rims + springs.

 

 

But its just the front bumper that needs to be fixed up.. The rest of the paint is in decent condition. Its not perfect, but its not horribly faded and peeling.

Car already has a great suspension set up too. But the police dont like tinted lights at all here, its a tough judgement call I'd have to make for that

 

Hey man, your on a RX8 club board, what do you expect? I was a mod on a Honda board for many years, you would likely get flamed even worse there.

Opinions are like ********. If it were me, I would have addressed the mechanical first. Start off with a good solid tune up, timing belt/water pump change, brakes, and then paint, body, and wheels. Next would be suspension, then lighting, and lastly interior.

Every car needs a good solid plan if it is a "work in progress". Otherwise it is just another POS that will never get finished. This goes for all cars, I have seen a few RX-8's owned by other members that are riced out pieces of **** too.

But judging by how you treated your RX-8, I highly doubt this Integra will ever be deemed clean by me.

Oh, and you cannot have a great suspension setup running anything OBX.

 

I don't know that many others care about a build thread on a ratty ls integra. If you came in here saying you were building a swapped track monster out of it and actually built something, you wouldn't get flamed. Instead, you're posting up a bunch of $15 dollar mods that really do nothing to a car that has no link to the forum you're posting on. It's not a dislike for the honda crowd, it's dislike for tasteless mods made to an unrelated car by an immature kid that contributes nothing to the forum.

Back to the integra... For what you spent in headlights, tail lights and parts from your friend you could have gotten that bumper painted. Maybe sell the ghetto blaster subwoofer too?

 

keep it simple man, what I would do is paint it white, swap the front for the jdm look. put in a k20, turbo it. lol simple

 

I just can't bring myself to comment on your "new" car, so sorry to see your 8 get mangled though, always hurts to see another yellow go down, so why didn't you try and find another one? 8's can be had for next to nothing these days, especially 04's like the yellows.

I wasnt speeding when I crashed my car. By all means, say what you want about my accident and ticket, but as of now, they're being disregarded, case closed. Its pointless to argue about it now, as whats done is done, right? Right.

But yes, back to the teggy.. Could have, should have, would have, it all comes out the same in the long run. What if a plane crash lands into my car while I'm sleeping? lol rare, but it could happen! Then the effort would be a waste.. Thatd go for every other car, **** happens i suppose

I remember a long time ago here, somebody told me I should fix my ugly dented bumper instead of whatever thing I asked about...... Now look where thats at. IMO im so glad I didnt repair that.. For just the fender, not cheap..

I had big plans with that car too.. NOT ricer plans, cough cough, I'll keep that comment to myself.. And I couldnt afford another one. They were in the $10-15k price range. I could have worked it down, and I had a chance at a perfect condition sunlight silver for like $8400 or something like that.. But for insurance and gas.. It would definitely bite me later, I'm sure. But maybe it was for the better good.. That 8 was only a 4 speed auto.. This teggy is a manual and has more gears. Definitely a lot more fun. I was nervous about buying a manual because I never owned one before, but, I've never stalled in traffic yet, so I'm doing good so far

oh yes, very simple indeed lol. I've learned a k swap is the only way to be the **** in this new scene it seems
