There are cars, sports cars, supercars and then comes...what? Well, then comes this 599 GTB Fiorano by tuner Novitec Rosso who make this Ferrari's numbers look a lot like the Italian carmaker's F1 car.
We have 808 ph, 823 Nm of cranking capacity and a top speed of more than 340 km/h. Track times are 0-100km/h in 3.5 seconds, 0-200km/h in 9.7 and 0-300km/h in 25.5 seconds. If you're giving out numbers on your 0-300km/h time, you have confidence in what you're putting out there on the street.
The Novitec Rosso's Bi-Kompressor V12 adds 188 hp and 215 Nm of torque from the 'factory' 599 GTB (factory must come in quotes since Ferrari builds its cars by hand, not by assembly line). The price for this newly tuned engine is 46,900 euros, which comes to about 250 euros for each additional horse.
Novitec Rosso is a tuner with top engineering capabilities. This tuning work includes aerodynamic improvements and the largest street-legal brake parts with steel discs and six-piston brake calipers. The press release provides all the nitty details.
Further pricing quotes were not released but you can expect them to be astronomical for this is as exotic as tuning gets.

That car is pure SEX!
Now, looking at the price per additional HP, it makes our Turbo / SC kits look very inexpensive by comparison!

I love the 599, but for some reason I love its little brother the F430 even more. I think for so much money, Id rather have a track oriented car than more of a GT car like the 599 even though the V12 is sick. gotta love the MR layout

The Good Folks at Kahn, need to go back to the drawing board, and redesign those ulgy wheels.

The good folks at Kahn Design have been kind enough to send WCF these initial photos of their first Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. Admittedly, there's not much in the way of actual body and performance upgrades, but Kahn keeps it simple with their first 599 project. Here they have added a lowered suspension, volume enhanced exhaust system and 20- and 21-inch Kahn Design F1-X Carbon wheels front and rear respectively, but the photos are quite nice.
You must be on crack, the photos are quite fulgy ( but minus the wheels sure does look sexy) is what you meant to say.

I will tell you all right now...she's sexy, but I found it to be a disappointment in person. Look wise at least, too much like the Scagliette with some more go-fast looking bits. Although I'm a purist when it comes to Ferrari's (family has owned a few and I work with them).
I will say this...the 599 is ******* SCARY to drive...but also insane. As my boss said, the only time I had this much fun was when I had two chicks at once.

My only gripe with the looks of the 599 would be the rear, more specifically the tail lights. Not a fan of the two big circles - would rather see the more 550 Maranello-like 4 circles which would give the illusion the car is smaller (or lower and wider) than it really is from the back. I also liked the "ducktail" on the 550 whereas the 599 is the reverse with its recessed center.
