My Partner's New Ferrari Challenge Stradale
Hi All - My partner (he's the MAJORITY partner) got his new license plate for his Ferrari Stradale and decided to drive it to work on Friday. I thought you all might enjoy some "eye candy" for a Sunday afternoon - here's a few pics!

Well, it's an ugraded exhaust he had installed about 2 weeks ago. He hasn't seen these pics yet - I'll show it to him tomorrow and see what he thinks. Here's a pic of the interior which I forgot to include:

2010 Prius - Miss the 8
Wasn't there another RX-8 forum member that bought a Stradale awhile ago? Hmmm...
Riccio, it's time for you (The OTHER majority partner) to buy a uhmmm... Ferrari Enzo or something small like that. Debadge it, replace it with RX-8 badges...etc... :P

The Stradale is nice, but the ride is too tough and that looks like a Tudi cat-back. You can get a Porsche GT3 for $75 less and it has a somewhat comfortable ride and is a better handler. Plus you can use that $75 to mod it into a Cup car if you are intertested in racing.
That Stradale is just not my taste; I do like the 15" ceramic rotors, they squeek worse than the RX-8's rotors. My dad's buddy (the one that has the black enzo), has one of them and I got a chance to drive it at Gingerman.

He used to run a Toyota Atlantic/Formula Atlantic Car. He really likes the race car like characteristics of the Stradale. He is probably one of the few owners with the driving skills to really drive it at close to maximum limits without killing himself or someone else.
They had an Enzo in the showroom when we went to pick up the Stradale (drove him and his wife there in my 8) - had it roped off like the museum piece that it is.
I'd rather have several cars than one Ferrari. I have a smaller equity position - but, I'm very happy with the cars I do have - especially my RX8.
Had a new Racing Beat exhaust installed on it Saturday - WOW - really, really, REALLY, like that!

I saw the "window sticker" (I don't think it is ever even close to bein stuck on the window - was in a very nice looking portfolio) and that stripe, painted at the factory, was an extra $5K (plus change) !!!!
But, I was told, having it done at the factory will help to insure the future value of the car.
Or something like that..........
