The New 3 Series
What do you guys think? I personally think that Bangle has deprived the 3 series of any hint of inspiration that it once exuded.

I personally wouldn't use the U word. I think they may have played it a bit safe compared to its cousins, but I'm going to wait until I see U.S. spec final pics before I pass judgment.

I love the new BMW line up, everytime i see an older 5... it just looks so boring. The current three and the new three are about even to me.
Could be the new m3.....

I already know it'll handle great, but I'm curious what kind of numbers the 330 will put down now that it has 258hp (or even the 325 w/218hp). If it doesnt weigh too much more it should be a low 5 second car, since the ZHP 330 with 235hp is mid-5 second.
I'm already looking forward to the first test against the G35.

What is BMW doing over there? While it's the best looking "Modern BMW Style" they have done it's still not good enough. Gosh, it's a shame when people say...

Rotary Powered Decepticon
the new 5 looks too ordinary (ie too much like a civic, etc). If I were to shell out that kind of money I would go for the high end stuff like Z4 or the M3. The 6 series looks alright though.

Don't mind the back end, I really like the side profile, but the front still needs some work. I hate the new 5, but somehow with the M5 cladding the car looks cutting edge now. If the new M3 can pull off a similar look, it will be even better.

Whoever said the 3-series looks like a Civic from behind is absolutely right. I was going to say it looks like a Ford Taurus, but I don't want to dog BMW that much. I also don't care so much for the front end (the headlight design makes it look like the hood accidentally overextends over them)--It's starting to look more Audi-esque and has lost a bit of its brawn (not to say that an A4 can't be tough looking, but these Beemers are starting to look like they have an identity crisis) or, even worse, Pontiac Grand Prix-ish. Like Hachi, I somewhat like the profile, but ick, I much prefer the 2000-2004 designs to the latest creations.

Ah...looks like the old Infiniti G20 (America) Nissan Primera (All others). Not sure, but then, I also felt that way when the new 7 and 5 were released!! I want to see the new M3. That will decide it for me.
