Man, the M3 you would find in that price range would either have close to 150k on it or be pre-2000.
My budget was something of a similar mix but under 30k and I ended up with my 8. Factoring in cost, mileage, my giant 6'5" person, and what I got for my money it was the better bet. Looking back, an M3 would have been nice but I love the 8.

Dude the 8 is not for everyone. No car is for everyone. If noone ever sold their 8s, you wouldn't be able to buy used ones.... Him wanting more horsepower is nothing for you to blow up about

i am going to wait until sunday to decide if i will sell both cars or just my audi... tough decision.
if i keep my rx8, i will definitely be in the market for some used aftermarket part!

Go drive it and see if you like it. Just remember once you turbo your 8, if something goes wrong, you still need a car to get to work. So maybe take 1000 of that and buy yourself a reliable beater.

Hello,
Hi Everyone,
I live in Perth, Australia and am looking for a new car. Will be visiting dealers next week. Just wanted to know if people bargain on the price on the new car. I know that dealers inflate the price of used cars (sometimes as much as $2000) so that it gives them some leverage if the customer bargains. Does this hold true for new cars as well ? When I go to the showroom is it customary to ask for a better deal or are the prices for new cars fixed ?
Thanks

bicycle for the win
what about a 1 series M? has anyone mentioned that yet? I test drove a 135 a few years ago when my 8 was really irritating me and loved it, I'd imagine this thing would be a lot of fun as well, probably mad expensive and I don't think it's out yet but whatever lol
