New colour trends....
I've been looking at the newer cars around town and have noticed a trend.
Less Silver!
Less and less people are buying silver it is starting to fade.
But guess what? I find there are a LOT of dark grey coloured cards (VW, Ford).
So it seems the dark grey colour is the new silver.
Not much green, not much red (except for dark burgundy). Some white and silver and very little blue.
People seem to be going for a richer colour to make their cheap *** cars look more expensive

Over here in the UK we have a phenomenon know as 'white van man'. This is the stereotypical delivery guy in a white van (usually Ford Transit) cutting people up and driving badly. Such is the poor image of white vans the manufacturers are now switching to silver grey coloured vehicles instead. I haven't seen a single new white van in months, just grey ones!

Also all new police cars in the UK are a variety of colours (mostly silver) where they used to all be white - I think the intention is that they are worth more when it comes to selling them off after a couple of years.
I've seen a few BMW 3 and 5 series police cars in the UK but I wonder how long until we see an RX-8 - and what colour will it be???
