The new ride...
Picked up a new car a couple weeks ago and finally got around to snapping a photo on the way home from work. I really like it even if it's a little slow compared to what I'm used to. It handles really well, has great road manners, and is an all around great daily driver. However, I miss the Evo so I may start a project car come spring and pick up something more moddable. In the meantime I'll enjoy the free maintenance, having a warranty, and toasty warm seats during the Wisconsin winter.

I miss the raw fun of the Evo, but the creature comforts and more comfortable ride on the S4 make up for it. They're such different cars it's hard to compare... Odds are I will have another Evo some day, either a newer modded daily driver X or XI or a heavily modded 8-9 as a second car.

Not bad, I think I would have stuck it out longer to get a M3, but who am I to talk,I couldn't find a 2001-2004 M3 for a good price, or one that wasn't ragged to hell ,so I opted for the RX-8!
No regrets at all , have fun with your Audi.

I looked at over a dozen M3's with varying miles and all '03 or newer and there was something wrong enough with eacxh of them to make me walk away. I figured I'd get the Audi and maybe start looking for an M3 or maybe 335i again in the spring. Now I'm thinking I'll either keep the Audi or get another Evo... We'll see how I feel in 3 or 4 months.
