Nice, dude. Nice.
I see you're in Phoenix. When it gets hot in Texas, I've heard several Elise owners complain that the AC can't keep up with the heat, and we're not talking about stop and go traffic. These guys would drive them to work, and be sweating when they got out.
Are you seeing that, too? Is there a fix?

So far it's been ok, although I haven't been out in the 120F heat yet. The highest AC setting is too cold right now. I had the windows and windshield tinted with that heat rejecting ceramic tint, it helps a lot too.

It's a brilliant sports car, and I can imagine the fun you'll have driving it. I've though about a Lotus for me, but, honestly, I LIKE daily driving my sports cars, and I wondered if the Elise or Exige would work for me.
Guess I need to research and test drive a few to see if I like the experience.

This probably seems like another odd thing to comment on... but those tires look pretty awesome.
Great looking car. Like Yax, I'd love to own one but I'd be unsure of having it as a daily driver.

Thanks for anwering... I know you're probably thinking, "he's asking about the AC? It's an Exige!"

Yea they are Yokohama ADVAN A048, treadwear 60. Don't expect many miles from them

I'm guessing you just got it, but you should at least post up some of your initial impressions! I know there are plenty of reviews out there, but it's always nice to hear from new owners.

It's very fast haha. But also loud, you hear every noise the engine makes, and lots of rattles too. Very stiff suspension, you can really feel the road. The seats are not very padded, but they are surprisingly comfortable, even over longer periods. It's tricky to get in and out of. It corners like nothing else of course, and the 60 treadwear tires stick to the road like glue. No power steering, so U turns and parking lots take some muscle. Also 0 rear visibility. I removed the rearview mirror because all you can see is the intercooler. However you can see behind the car pretty decently with the side view mirrors, and the blind spot is virtually non existent.

Beautiful color. I had the experience of driving one for 3 weeks and daily driving is doable, but definitely not comfortable by any means. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get out of that car looking cool haha, its more of a balancing act. Congrats on the buy though, have fun in the twisties

S240, very nice. Congrats on the purchase. Insanely fun and raw cars. Great color, but I think Saffron or Solar Yellow matches the insanity of the machine (as you can tell from the sig ).
