The V8 engine and 20" rim option are rumored. The V8 is retuned existing I believe... not a all new engine.

The IS350 is already losing to the 330, even if the 330 is slower. When the G35 first came out, the car mags rated it over their beloved 330 (finally dethroned)... more car for the money... and good car too. This time around... Lexus and BMW are going to get SUCH an *** kicking. As far as this market goes... Toyota is dumb. This isn't a "Toyota" market. This is a "BMW" market... and apparantly Toyota can't figure out how to build one. Oh well... Nissan has and is going to out do themselves this time.

Man... I love the current G35 coupe and this... I want one.

Yeah, the more I look at it the better this car looks. I too like the rear lights better in the current G35...but that's about it, oh yeah I like the name G35 also...not G37 or G40 (while G40 sounds better).

How about they stick to the G35 name and stick a 3.5L V8 in there making 350HP...sweet! lol

This car, inside and out...looks great!

Wowie. Fall eh..........Sounds enticing. The roof and interior are mindblowing, but I bet they'll never made a production car.

-the roof might or might not make it, since mercedes benz is having the panarama clear roof on their 08 models, its possible it might make production. id give it a 50/50 chance.

-the interior can easily make production, the current interior already has around the same amount of aluminum trims and accents and has similar quality materials. This new interior is just superior design wise making it look more sporty, so building it dosnt cost them much extra. theres nothing in this new interior thats super futuristic or super luxurious. Id say the production interior will be 90% close to this concept

The interior is much improved. I dont remember the shift **** set that way and the speed dials looks good with all that color. The clock has come down and the GPS doesn't jump up from the hood and is always visible. Its a much better interior and I really hope it makes it into production. The panoramic room will make the drivers seat one sweet place to be in.

It looks good. Willl they bump it up to $40k like the 330 and the IS350? Got pics of the sedan and what's the word on a new Z? Can't wait for the new stuff to come out...

lol 330ci and IS350 are not 40k, its 37k and 35k respectively. I can see them bumping the G coupe to 35k, but i doubt theyd price it at bmw's level. Since the Z is based on the skyline/G platform, we'll probably see a new Z concept this time next year.

Very nice but a little too luxurious for me. Might consider something like this when I'm 50 or 60. Give me lightweight sport .

Looks bigger and "softer." Nice looking, but not better than the old model (except for the interior).

wow, that's pretty nice looking.
330hp? ouch...my poor RX-8 is going to get picked on a lot. (oh well, who cares)

It would be really nice to see that version go into production.

Wanna know the BEST part of this?? There will be 10 of these thing for EVERY Rx-8 so it'll just make me love my car even more.

Uh. We're not talking about base models here. I have friends that own both including the G35C($37k) and they were in no means cheap nor in the $30s.

the way you phrase it, you didnt specify that, usually people talk about starting price. its actually still very easy to get sub 40k is350 though if you dont get the nav unit.

the interior is inredible.... you can tell infiniti is gearing this g35 towards women like the current g35 (with tampon in med kit) because there is a giant ***** on the center runner lol.

Look real close at the interior panels and pieces. Materials look real cheap. Nothing has changed at Nissan. Exterior looks great.

you really are about the strange engine sizes lol 1L 2 rotor 1.3L 3 rotor 3.5L V8. a 3.5 liter V-8 wouldn't necessarily make more or less power simply because it has more cylinders, those cylinders would be displacing less because the stroke would be quite shortenned and the torque would drop. a 3.5L V8 may make 350hp but not until extremely high revs.

yeah, a 3.5L V8 would be like an expensive high reving ferrari engine.. not exactly the type of engine you would see in AFFORDABLE normal cars....

For those of y'all questioning Infiniti's 'materials', yes in the past their materials weren't up to par, but just take a look at the M35-45. Infiniti has really stepped it up a notch, in a big way.

Look at the plastic pieces, even the area around the dashboard. Look real close at the plastic around the driver's instrument pod. It just gives me deja vu about Nissan in general and those miserable G35 interiors, even the new supposedly fixed up one.
