The whole car looks like it's trying too hard to be unique by taking design cues from several different manufacturers. Like a DNA hybrid experiment gone wrong.
Someone else here said it right. The lines don't flow in this car anymore. In some ways it's masculine looking (like those wheel arches), but in other ways, it's feminine looking, like the A pillar and the rear boot.
This new 370z looks like a transvestite off of Church/Wellesley. You look at it, and you question, is it a man or a woman? and you don't know even after several long looks.

i have always been a huge fan of the 240z through tot he 300ZX, but the 350 and now this one miss the boat, still cant figure out why they have those bulky ugly door handles.... to me the mid 90's 300ZX is much nicer... i agree about the crossfire backend as well

the LA AutoShow starts on November 21st, these are just pics that were released by a few sites today.
This is a huge repost with an inaccurate title.

"REDWOOD CITY, California — Nissan has teamed with Electronic Arts to launch the all-new 2009 370Z in the new Need for Speed Undercover video game. It's the first time an automaker has staged the world premiere of a new car in video-game format, says Nissan."
