Is it sad that after the crash that people kept on going through the toll booth like nothing happened save for that one white car??
It seems like the driver was trying to escape the police and foolishly tried to aim his car between the booths but failed most likely due to the high speed he was traveling at. You just know the family of this guy are going to try to file a wrongful death suit against the state for this.

Well at least he picked an empty EZ-Pass booth to hit.

They did the right thing, IMO. I would have done the same.

I thought that if a doctor discovers that his patient is having seizures, then he has to report it to the DMV and the drivers license is suspended. If you have seizures and continue to drive, you are putting yourself and others at risk. As I said, another idiot takes himself out of the gene pool.

It never ceases to amaze how people are so quick to pass judgement w/out even knowing the whole situation...but anyway, different factors for different states, I do beleive though most states require people with epilepsy to be seizure free for a specified period of time and have a Dr's evaluation of their ability to drive safely...Being that he had just experienced a seizure and jumped behind the wheel of a car was a big nono but who knows what the scenario was

I don't think that I am being "Quick to pass judgment." If you know that you have seizures and you get behind the wheel of a car, then you are an idiot. Plain and simple. That would be endangering yourself and others and would be a crime.

I can't really tell what type of car it was, but it sure did catch quick. Wonder what ruptured the tank. Maybe he drove over a pole when he hopped the curb.
Either way, seizures or not, I hope he died on impact.

Well the state of New jersey states "one must be seizure free for at least one year before he/she can drive again". Excluding this fella I guess all other epileptic people who have cleared through their physicians and met the time period are idots too ...whatever man it's your world

Looks like a late 90's Ford ZX2 Escort. The car hit a concrete barrier designed to prevent cars from hitting the toll booth head on. At 65 mph that barrier could rip the tank apart.
