well the only good news is that suspension parts are made to be changed (even though they dont want to have to do it). As opposed to the 70 car, you dont plan on changing the fuel cell

frack. That porsche broke hard and early for no reason. Schmuck. Oh well. Still a long race but two cars behind the wall is pretty rough.

Watching it right now, not much win for the Mazdas at this early stage...

On the bright side, it IS early, at least we've still got 22+ hours to go. Maybe one of the RX-8s can pull something out!

Apparently he was braking early due to cold tires... but he did pull back across the front of the 69 just before that

What the hell was that Porsche doing? From what I could tell, he nailed the brakes VERY early for that corner. It's not looking good for the 8s this year, and we're just over an hour in. Yikes.

Well, there's always hope. But I thought this was going to be a great weekend for the 8, and it's looking really grim at the moment

Yeesh. They are both wayyy behind. Coming back from 30-40+ laps behind is a prayer. Just hope they both finish the race at this point, be lucky to get one in top 10-15. Porsche terrin it up.

He's not racing GPs. GT leader is 7 laps off overall pace. 69 is 31 laps off (24 behind GT leader), and the 70 is 48 laps off (41 off leader).

Lots can happen in this race but more than likely they'll just be going for position in the series now.
