Kind of exciting, too bad the Mazdas didn't get that top spot.

The word from the track is that the Mazda teams are working together to maintain an advantage. This is despite Grand-Am continually giving weight & horsepower penalties and giving advantages to the other makes.

I was lucky enough to be working in the 70 pit, and I can say that it was a major disappointment to have us get put out so early. The guys worked so incredibly hard to get things right and move up through the field that to have it go that way was not how I wanted it to end! Thanks to the entire Speedsource team, Marlon, and Mazda for putting on an incredible showing for their fans! Oh yeah, it was nice to meet alnielsen also!

Hey All, I was at the "What Happens in Vegas 2010 Meet" this weekend and missed the race. The Sin City Rotary club put on a hell of a meet. If you haven't checked out the thread for pics and video you should it was a blast. https://www.rx8club.com/what-happens-vegas-170/whatever-happens-vegas-meet-2010-a-190608/ Had RX8 owners from 8 or more states show up. Anyway in all the excitement and not viewing the race can anyone tell me the Secret Word(s) for the FOOSE RX8 . Very much appreciated.

It's too late already. rules state it must be entered by midnight on the Monday following the race.

I think it was GURNEY FLAP, but not sure if I am mixing it with another prior race, or if my spelling is accurate. Memory there.

Yea, thanks anyways, forgot about the Monday deadline. Was driving home from Vegas on Monday. Glad to see the #30 do well they have had some bad luck at the finish. Only one GT3 in the mix? Ohio not a good track for them? or they still whining about the MAZDA'

He was taken out quite early by a DP that passed and cut back onto the line before clearing the car going into Turn 1.

I disagree with Grand-Am and the broadcast staff on the penalty against the 68 car. The Corvette hadn't completed the pass when they entered the turn and attempted to cutoff the 68 car causing the collision.
