See???? You can see here who REALLY HAS THE GUTS to say it the way it is... Alonso, Trulli, Massa, Webber... most of the drivers feel this way and outspoken about this issue...
Of course you have guys like Hamilton that are so hard to read, has not said a word about this and now he says "I am under contract at my team and will go wherever they go. That's the way it is. That applies for all drivers," the Briton told Deutsche Presse Agentur in Stuttgart What a bunch of BS... He doesn't have the guts to say it the way it is. Typical of him.... What LAME World Champion we have...

We all know Alonso is heavily favored to go the RED team... It's about time they have a guy that has the ***** to say it how it is...
And BTW, if Hamilton is such "team player" then why did he blame the poor guy that got fired at the beginning of the season? Wasn't he the one crying saying... "he made me do it.. he made me do it"? If he was such team player he should have kept quiet and resolve it within the team... but I know he is incapable of doing so and now he doesn't know what to say... well whatever Ron Dennis tells him, he will do that.. what puss...
Now McLaren are struggling because they don't have someone that knows how to setup a car like Alonso did. I agree Hamilton is a great driver but it takes more than that to be a complete resource to the team.
Renault is struggling big time and I am sure Alonso will leave by the end of the season...

It's sad, with all the politics and other general bullshit I really have not enjoyed this season at all. Sportscar racing is climbing back up my priority list, they don't have to wait 3 months to decide if cars are legal or not.
With that being said, Go Williams!

All the evidence would indicate that Alonso might be the better at contributing to car setup and Lewis may have the edge on him (Driving) in an equally setup car. They are both VERY talented. Lewis is more the 'Statesman' for his team and extremely respectful to his crew and team. Alonso has shown more than once that: The bottom line is Alonso and he will stab anyone who gets in his way including his own personal manager.

Ecclestone blames Turkey for GP failure
June 8, 2009 9:16 PM
Bernie Ecclestone has blamed Turkish officials for the apparent failure of the country's formula one foray.
Istanbul Park, having first hosted the grand prix in 2005, boasts highly impressive circuit facilities and arguably the best layout penned by Hermann Tilke.
F1 chief executive Ecclestone now rents the track from the Istanbul chamber of commerce, but believes the promotion of the event is up to the locals.
Watching Sunday's grand prix from his London home with a Daily Express reporter, the 78-year-old admitted his concern about the almost totally empty grandstands.
"I need to speak to the Turkish prime minister soon and see what the future of the circuit is. They just don't promote the race," Ecclestone charged.
It is known that Ecclestone has already served notice that the track's agreement to stage the annual race is under review for 2011 and beyond.
Mark Webber said after finishing second on Sunday that the problem may be that tickets are too expensive. But Ecclestone believes the market is there.
"They have a huge catchment area of East European and Middle East countries. The layout is brilliant, they just don't promote it," said Ecclestone, before joking: "Maybe they could move the whole thing to Britain."
probably the turkish ppl dotn want to pay high dollars to watch ferrari lose (cough cough polo and aln)
.
but jokes aside, i agree with webber. mark is so blinded by his ego, that F1 is collapsing because of him.

Read that article earlier today, I don't see why the big manufacturers have to be involved, F1 was independent teams for a long time until the turbos came into it.

confused here, if a company A buys out company B. shouldnt company A determine what name they will use if they where to use Company B? both brabham and lotus are teams that where bought out by another company.
http://www.worldcarfans.com/9090611....-2010-f1-entry
The Lotus Cars company has followed the Brabham family in distancing itself and threatening legal action against a proposed formula one team bearing its name.
It emerged last week that 'Team Lotus' could return to the grid next year in the form of British F3 team Litespeed, who said they were granted permission to use the name from rights holder David Hunt.
Hunt, who bought Team Lotus from the bankrupt outfit at the end of 1994, is the brother of the 1976 world champion James Hunt.
However, Lotus Cars Limited, the ongoing sports car maker that is based on the company founded by Colin Chapman in 1952, clarified on Wednesday that it is in no way associated with the prospective 2010 team.
"Group Lotus plc will take all necessary steps to protect its name, reputation and brand image," it said in a statement.
There was more bad news for a 2010 F1 hopeful on Wednesday, when it was rumoured that Superfund, the Austrian investment company, may have been struck off the FIA's list due to the emergence of an unpaid debt relating to motor racing of nearly 4m euros.

Max Mosley: The man who destroyed formula one?
As the final 24 hours until the publication of the 2010 entry list beckons, the eight rebel formula one teams known collectively as FOTA met once again in London.
"I still believe that a reasonable solution can be found," Mercedes-Benz's Norbert Haug is quoted as saying by Germany's DPA news agency.
The current state of affairs as FOTA met on Wednesday was the ongoing stalemate between the body and the FIA, led by a seemingly equally obstinate Max Mosley.
Mosley wrote to FOTA this week, requesting that the unconditional status of the FOTA teams' entries be dropped, and McLaren boss Martin Whitmarsh suggested to Auto Motor und Sport that the association's reply was "very constructive".
However, Mosley's demands were not met, raising the prospect that marquee names including Ferrari and McLaren will be left off the entry list when it is published on Friday.
But speculation suggests that, due to existing (albeit disputed) agreements, Ferrari and the Red Bull teams might actually be named on the FIA's June 12 document.
The possibility led Ferrari's Stefano Domenicali to issue a media statement late Wednesday, insisting that if a compromise with the FIA is not reached imminently "then the FIA will not be able to include Ferrari" on the list of confirmed 2010 teams.
Although it is more than seven months until the first race of next season, there is a risk that June 12 could be the day on which a split became inevitable.
"If ten (non-FOTA) teams are given an entry there's a major problem," Ross Brawn said in Turkey last week. "So I hope - even if it's a holding position until we can sort this out - I hope there's a solution."
Domenicali agreed: "If you want to be sensible you can discuss whatever you want up until next year. But we need to find a solution as soon as possible."
It is arguable in whose court the ball currently lies, but as it is the FIA president who proposes revolutionising the rules, Italy's La Stampa newspaper observes: "Mr Mosley risks passing into history as the man who destroyed formula one."

This sounds like a joke. Mosley is probably just showing off with that list..
i hate what F1 will be and i'm seriously hoping to see a new championship arise, with real cars and real development
