According to reports by the German newspaper 'Bild', former World Champion Jacques Villeneuve is closing in a on deal to return to Formula One with the new USF1 Team in 2010. Villeneuve didn't want to refer to USF1 but said to the publication: "It is true, I will return to Formula One."

According to 'Bild', the team would have its first car, designed at Charlotte, North Carolina, ready in October. USF1 would also be looking at Le Castellet, France, and Aragon, Spain, as their European base.

It may not be a US driver, but it is an experienced North American. Paul Ricard has also been suggested as a euro base of ops.

OHHHH HELLL YEAH!!!!!!!!! That's the best news all week!!!

We should see the fastest times of the weekend in Q2 tomorrow. I'm excited to see if McLaren and Willams are now actually that fast or if Brawn and Red Bull are just playing their cards close to the vest right now.

Damnnn... oh well.. let's not get too "excited" Let's wait until after the race... THAT IS WHAT COUNTS!!!

It'll be a good race: Brawns, RBR, Ferrari, McLaren... can't wait

Now the weekend will get even better if Contador wins the "Tour"

Carlos

I would say he is right on pace with Bourdais. Thats where we had Bourdais also. However, Bourdais were there after 1.5 year in F1, this guy just arrived

^^ All he has to do is finish the race on Sunday and it will be an improvement of Bourdais.

USF1 is looking more to Alexander Wurz, than to Villeneuve.

Are you sure you are not thinking about Piquet now?

According to TV they claim that Massa was conscious and waved (albeit weakly) when moved to the ambulance. (Speed TV had caught that footage)

Lets hope and pray that he is fully OK.

And maybe he will be fit to drive tomorrow. But that is secondary.

The Ferrari guys just said to Rai Sport that Massa is conscious and is answering to questions. And yes he waived!
Really hope he's going to be ok!

...I can't believe that! Yeah, I really hope the guy is ok. I wonder who Ferrari's reserve driver is?? Is it Gene??? You know what would just turn the race upside down......MS
