Rumours of driver movements within the top teams are yet again gaining traction.
Recently, a Spanish television station reported that, notwithstanding the existence of new contracts, Felipe Massa and Robert Kubica could be set to swap seats for 2011.
The Swiss publication Motorsport Aktuell is now reporting a similar rumour, whereby Massa would leave Ferrari at the end of the season to make room for Pole Kubica.
But the report said Brazilian Massa would be accommodated not by Renault but by Ferrari powered Sauber, where he drove as a rookie in 2002 and again in 2004-2005.
"Of course I read all the rumours," Kubica said in an interview with spox.com, "but in the end the only thing is winning.
"We are all here because we want to win and you need the best car for that. Currently I'm at Renault and so I am focused on this team and on improving together.
"In 2011 we want to fight for the world title. We'll see what happens next," the 25-year-old added.
Kubica admitted that he would like to race for Ferrari one day.
"In karting, Formula Renault and F3, I've always been with Italian teams and I even lived for more than a year near Monza.
"Ferrari is a team unlike any other," he acknowledged. "The emotion and the history is unique. I think every driver would like to drive for Ferrari."

Even better would be if Massa came to Renault and they got the best car and Massa won the world championship. Just dreaming here though
But I truly believe it would be a better climate from Massa than a team telling him "Alonso is faster than you, can you confirm you understand the message"

You know that would be kind of nice. Alonso needs someone like Kubica who can fight back and really take his piece of the cake. Massa is a nice guy who lets himself be trodden upon by Alonso.

Alonso is main threat - Hamilton
Lewis Hamilton has singled out Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso as his most dangerous rival for the world title.
Alonso, who won the last race, is third in the championship, 16 points behind Hamilton and 21 adrift of Red Bull's Mark Webber with five races to go.
But Hamilton said ahead of Sunday's Singapore Grand Prix: "Fernando seems to be [the main threat] because Ferrari have really stepped up their game.
"[I am] assuming they are our closest rivals at the moment."

Red Bull looks to be back to its dominant best on the street confines of the Singapore grand prix city venue.
Despite some rivals expecting the RB6's speed on high downforce tracks to have been muted by the flexibility tests, championship leader Mark Webber and Sebstian Vettel both tasted the top of the times at the end of Friday's two 90-minute practice sessions.
"We knew nothing would change with our car before we came here," said Webber.
"We've passed all the new FIA tests and we weren't coming here expecting to be slower than we were in Budapest."
And while Monza winner Fernando Alonso had looked quick before stopping his Ferrari after a slip into a run-off zone in the night session, the Spaniard admitted: "We know Red Bull are maybe the favourites."
The McLaren looked the best part of a second slower than the Red Bull.
Jenson Button confided to reporters that the RB6 is "crazy quick" this weekend, but Lewis Hamilton insisted that Red Bull "definitely aren't unbeatable here".
Mercedes' Norbert Haug told German Sky television: "On a track like this, Red Bull seems to have the advantage."

I wonder why they put useless drivers like chandok and senna instead of this kind of mature and experienced driver. Barrichello is really helping his team in a league without tests.

Alonso reminded me a bit of Villeneuve today.
Simply astonishing performance.
Hamilton was ok, just too slow to be 1st.
Webber proved to be a good driver in an excellent car, Vettel clearly outskilled him as usual. Too bad the kid is still too young to play safe when he has to
Button is so delusional, he didn't deserve to win last year but apparently that's what happen when who makes the rules then makes the car!
Schumi is getting back with a car that doesn't fit him, i wonder what kind of hell he will put on the track next year if he gets the development right!

OK My "Cheeky" Prediction at the Start...
Vettel will take out Alonso who will then take out Hami, with the 'Interceptor' touching Hami up the *** at the same time...(JB and LH likes it both ways)...
So ALL will be out before the first lap...leaving Webby Baby to take the flag and strengthen his hold at the Top...after all for MW it is all about strategy from now on.
Or there could be a total power Failure....and No Race..
