Senna, Heidfeld and Liuzzi on Renault shortlist
more @ http://en.espnf1.com/renault/motorsp...ory/40358.html
I would pick Luizzi.
Renault have named three drivers who are under consideration to replace Robert Kubica, and the absence of Kimi Raikkonen appears to end intense speculation he might be tempted back to Formula One.
Raikkonen has not made any comment, but Renault boss Eric Boullier told reporters outside the Santa Corona Hospital that "the names considered are [Bruno] Senna, [Tonio] Liuzzi and [Nick] Heidfeld".
"The team is close to Robert, we wait for him with open arms," Boullier said. "It was Robert's choice, he wanted to go rallying at all costs and Renault authorised it. Now we just wait to know what the recovery time is for our driver."

I would have thought Heidfeld a better option. He has a rock solid record of always finishing races and he has experience. Liuzzi is experienced but his last season with Force India was not very impressive.

Heidfeld is mr. reliable, Liuzzi will surely cost less. Senna is already in theyr paybook...
That's the main difference price wise.
Talent wise Senna had a horrible season, Heidfeld was OK and Liuzzi often performed well but was unlucky\hit.
I would discard senna immediately and think about Hulkenberg or Liuzzi. Without knowing if Kubica will be able to make a comeback to f1 Hulkenberg might be a wise choice for the future, the guy's fast. Liuzzi is not too old and might prove like an underdog with the right car. He's not at kubica's level but is still capable to race

The reason I would choose Liuzzi is his record with Toro Rosso. A couple of years ago, they had a car that worked well and out performed the sister Red Bull team. Liuzzi was a part of that and drove and finished well. He should be picked up by another team. He deserves a better team actually.

^^ yeah, he kicked Scott Speeds punk *** hahahahahah!!!! I like Heidfield for the seat though, seems like the safest bet out of them all. Hulkinburg is a good possibility though...at least he's race fresh and coming from a good team. Tell you what though....I'm sure Petrov is breathing a slight sigh of relief...as he MIGHT not get as bad of an *** whippin with Kubica out of the sister car.

Don't forget the car as been built for Kubica, maybe they will pick a driver with the same driving style?
I would pick Heidfield before Tonio, but Quick Nick as been link so many times with Renault in the last 2 years and it went nowhere everytime...
Is Kimi interested? I don't think so, but it's his last chance to come back in F1 and to what it looks like, with a great car. IMO he's really happy in rally without all the F1 BS, he even created his own rally team.

Rossi's surgery is not to be compared with Kubica's of course, but to be back on a motorcycle 4 weeks after a broken tibia... Motorcycle racing put so much stress on the legs, I can barely believe in his quick recovery. Those guys are out of this world and have access to the best treatments avalaible.

Rossi's shot because of his shoulder. You can bet on that. He will maybe win another championship but he won't be the same again.
