LOL yeah. I literally winced and curled up in my chair when I saw how fast the car was coming and he KEPT FALLING down! I was like OMG get up and don't die! I think the F1 car had to brake so hard, the front tires locked up.

Man, nobody wants to talk F1 anymore .

Well, I missed half the race because Fox sucks at covering it and I got back from church too late. Ferrari is making good gains and Lewis was SO wrong when he suggested that they are quicker during the race (Maybe during a rainy race).

Stop the Vettel train, somebody, anybody! Fernando, Webber?

That's how I feel right now.

Paul.

Couldn't have agreed more! I feel exactly the same 2009 when Button had the same winning streak. However Button's luck turned a lot for the worse on Silverstone.

And which is the next GP? Silverstone. I am so hoping for a turnaround in this title race. Heck I have even found myself to carefully cheer on Alonso every now and then this season.

Exclusive: 17 F1 circuits will switch to IndyCar if green engines are voted in tomorrow

For years we have heard threats from Formula One's teams about leaving the sport, buying the sport or joining a rival series. It has become something of a stuck record and now F1, and in particular, the sport's governing body the FIA, has a new threat to worry about. It has come right out of the blue and appears in an article in today's Express written by Pitpass' business editor Christian Sylt. In a nutshell, 17 race promoters, including Monaco, Monza, Silverstone and Spa, have all agreed to stop holding F1 races and run IndyCar instead if new smaller engines are introduced to F1 tomorrow. It is hard to believe but it is no idle threat. The catalyst for this situation was the decision in December by the World Motor Sport Council (WMSC) to introduce to F1 from 2013 four cylinder 1.6 litre engines with a maximum of 12,000 rpm. This proposal met with huge resistance from most F1 teams as well as the sport's boss Bernie Ecclestone due to it being a 33% reduction in power from the current eight cylinder 2.4 litre engines which run at 18,000 rpm. This seems to be a serious attempt, by the circuits, to stop F1 from destroying itself. Deeper into the article, Todt wants to eventually move to hybrid engines and add noise generators to make the engines sound right. Sounds crazy, but it's true.

What is Todt thinking? They really have a death wish.

Todt, Ecclestone, all in charge. All the tracks (ex. Monaco which will quit) will go Indycar rather than put up with this BS.
I believe the teams will follow and either buy existing car models or build their own and have them homologated. Grand Prix will be the Indycar formula rather than F1.

Ecclestone actually is strongly opposed to moving from the V8 formula. He favors Ferrari's perspective in that regard. I also agree. The current sound in F1 would be a shame to lose.

Rev limits have not yet been confirmed, but Adrian Newey told BBC Sport in Valencia that they would be "around 14,000 or 16,000".

F1 needs two US races on east/west coasts – Whitmarsh

Formula one needs the US but Martin Whitmarsh has admitted he would have preferred a pair of races on the east and west coasts.

After Indianapolis hosted America’s most recent grand prix in 2007, the sport will return to the USA next June to race on a bespoke circuit in the capital of Texas.

But Austin is in the United States’ central south rather than on the eastern seaboard featuring New York, or the west close to Washington or California....more

It seems F1 thinks as little of the central US or "flyover country" as the U.S. media.

We all know that an RX8 isn't to be compared to a "standard production car".

What we need for the British Grand Prix is some rain. That is the equalizer that would prevent Vettel from wagging his proud #1 finger at us come race end.

If that's the case, Button will cruise from 24th to a win again.

My bet is still on Hamilton if it rains. Even if they are both excellent rain drivers.

Hehe last rain race Hamilton was after all eliminated by Button although it was neither drivers fault.

If Lewis isn't thinking about sunglasses and what hip-hop celebrities he'll be partying with this weekend he may have a stunning race.

The boy could go back under his father's wing for one more year of maturing perhaps.

How the *#C^ do I figure out what time FOX is showing F1 this weekend on TV? I've been googling F1 on FOX, US F1 TV schedule and everything else imaginable.

I'm going to be VERY pissed if I miss qualifying or the race .

I'm beginning to despise FOX.
