Great ending, too bad that Domenicali is as smart as a stone when it comes to pit stop strategies.
Alonso drove an excellent race on his own, finishing 3rd after 2 spins was awesome.
Button really deserved the win, Vettel showed that he can pass and finish well despite what Christianv says:
Hamilton was by far the best driver this time (after Nando, of course).

I wonder why Webber miserably falls behind on a regular basis. True that he his 2nd in the standings this year as well but that's because they had an awesome car from the beginning...
Maybe he wants to retain his seat for the next season as well?
Massa seems just one step behind the competition and I surely can't blame him. Lack of tests after his accident and stuff like that may have hindered his confidence.
Add Alonso as a teammate and you see why if there's a pit stop to screw it is generally his
That's bad because Massa is truly one of the best guys out there.
Where is MSC?

I had hopes when MSC and ROS passed both the Ferraris at the beginning, but apparently I was thinking too much.
and no alfy. not "Heck i even think koboyashi is better then vet at passing" Kobayashi IS better IMO. raw speed, hmm maybe not, but passing? Definitely. Vettel is so friggin boring.

I'll see your Domenically and raise you a Whitmarsh. Once again McLaren proves they're their own worst enemy. This was Hamilton's race to lose and they lost it for him by making stupid calls. At least there was a McLaren on the podium, but they pissed away a 1-2 result.
Whoever made the pit calls for Lewis screwed up. He should at least have been 3rd.
Paul.

I am probably stating the obvious when I say it is Red Bull & McLaren's season, with Ferrari a couple of steps behind.
If Ferrari progresses, they can only at best get race wins. The Drivers & Manufactures Championship are out of their reach. End development of the present car and begin work on 2012 car.

I don't remember exactly the situation, I should look at the replay on youtube, but he could have spin the other way around instead of putting himself in the racing line blocking a Force India

As for Massa, he's a great guy, but I just don't think he has the talent that the other top 5 guys have. He really struggles in the rain when driving talent is magnified. If Kubica comes back and drives like he used to, he would be great at Ferrari.
As for yesterday, it seems like every time there's some tricky strategizing to be done due to rain/tires, Button always comes out on top. And as the unofficial president of the Lewis Hamilton Haters Club, I thoroughly enjoyed his race yesterday.

And who else thinks his and Jenson's friendship's genuine, or it was just all a PR show, he was the first one who got up and hugged jenson at the photo.

Lewis and Jenson are genuine friends and that is helpful in car development. They will fight about as hard as anyone on the track though within reason. What a show they put on last weekend .

Speculation
Barrichello to lose 2012 race seat?
read more at: http://www.forumula1.com/2011/f1/f1-...012-race-seat/
Adrian Sutil and Nico Hulkenberg are being linked with Rubens Barrichello’s Williams Formula One seat.
With Williams happy with Pastor Maldonado and his links with important Venezuelan backer PDVSA, the Grove based team at present is refusing to say the 39-year-old veteran Barrichello will surely stay beyond 2011.
Increasingly, the Brazilian’s rhetoric is sounding impatient, and Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport reports he is calling a halt to the practice of using his car as a test mule for struggling Williams’ technical experiments.

Time to retire...
Jarno is actually fun to watch racing, for the couple of laps he generally lasts.
This is too funny anyway:

Vettel only fourth with speed of F1 success

Bruno Senna will replace Nick Heidfeld for the Belgian Grand Prix this weekend, according to BBC pundit Eddie Jordan.
Having originally been considered as a replacement for the injured Robert Kubica at the start of the year, Senna lost out to Heidfeld as Renault decided his experience would be more beneficial to the development of its innovative R31. After a promising start when Vitaly Petrov was third in Australia and then Heidfeld also finished third in Malaysia, it's been a disappointing season for the team as it has slipped back in to the midfield.

Work currently stopped at 2012 US GP venue
Construction of the 2012 US grand prix venue in Austin has stopped, according to the local American Statesman newspaper.
Reporter Eric Dexheimer said he has received “several anonymous phone calls” informing that no work has been taking place at the site of the Circuit of the Americas for the past few days.
One caller reportedly said “the project’s general contractor, Austin Commercial, had called a meeting of subcontractors last week and instructed them to go home for a couple of weeks; there was no money to pay them.”

Vettel only fourth with speed of F1 success
Although Sebastian Vettel’s rise to the top of F1 has been meteoric, three other grand prix drivers achieved even more in their first 73 races.

Lotus-Renault is disappointed with an experienced driver that constantly did "a bit" worse than their best driver (Petrov.. yes, iknow...) and prefer somebody who didn't do much if anything at all in F1 to him?
Senna must have big money behind him!
Anyway: DRS will be prohibited on the eau rouge:
