It's not my fault if he's only mediocre at best! Reminds me of glock and kovalainen.
After missing their chance with big teams (toyota and mclaren) they both made no difference vs their teammate in a lesser car.

My theory about RB has just been mathematically debunked as the British commentators just stated that Alonso and Button would need to not finish in order for Webber to place 2nd in the driver's championship.

Congratulations to Webber and RB who's chassis and entire package has been beastly this year. So, Webber finishing ahead of Vettel secured 3rd place in the driver's championship for him due to Button getting by Alonso. I wonder what that means in money for RB.

I don't think it was strategy or to ensure Webber a win. They were telling him to take care ever after the Webber pass.

Now, 2 months of boredom until Daytona. I'm not a fan of Aus Touring car racing. Too much like NASCAR on a road course.

BTCC? Fia GT (What's left of...it)? I can strap a camera to my head and show you the daily after-espresso race to the bathroom if you dare!

Well he is useless lol! Or better said... the perfect second driver. Doesn't win unless the first driver has mechanical problems yet always gets home some good points.
Alonso won the same races as Webber did but with a lesser car and was only outscored in the standings because of vettel's failure.
In his 10+ years career he only had a remarkable year (2010), all the rest is not even worth mentioning.
He's a middle pack driver in a superb car.
The best drivers out there are the usual Vettel, Alonso, Hamilton, Button, Kubica, Rosberg, Kobayashi and Schumacher. He is right behind them all, along with Massa.

Alonso said, in a recent italian interview, that he doesn't care about Vettel and Webber as drivers because they clearly have a superior car. He said to be way more concerned with Hamilton's ability to win with anything you throw at him.

Australia and Italy both suck at producing talented drivers nowaday. Racing is so expensive and rewardless that nobody ventures there. With the rise of paying drivers we will see even less talent and more useless bums too.
Let's hope for a quick death for both Bernie and the FIA.

Raikkonen returns with Lotus Renault in 2012

Lotus Renault has confirmed that Kimi Raikkonen will return to Formula One in 2012 after the 2007 World Champion signed a two-year contract with the team.

Raikkonen had previously been linked with a drive at Williams after displaying an interest to return to the sport he left in 2009. However, after Robert Kubica confirmed that he was not going to be fit to return by the start of 2012, Lotus Renault has moved to secure Raikkonen's services as its lead driver. Having pursued a rallying career since leaving Formula One, Raikkonen said that it had been clear that he wanted to return for some time.

Europe 'finished' for F1 - Ecclestone

Bernie Ecclestone believes that there will only be five races held in Europe in the near future, saying that it is "finished" as a Formula One hub.

Formula One has traditionally been based in Europe, with all of the team headquarters found within Britain, Italy, Switzerland and Spain. There were nine races in Europe this season, and the number will shrink to eight next year when the Turkish Grand Prix disappears from the calendar. Ecclestone, however, still feels that number is too high and expects more to fall by the wayside in the not-too-distant future.

"I think in the next few years, Europe will be left with only five races," Ecclestone is quoted by Marca. "I think Europe is finished. It will be a good place for tourism but little else. Europe is a thing of the past."

When asked if Europe was the spiritual home of Formula One, Ecclestone responded: "It used to be."

Ecclestone was clear where he was hoping to expand to in the future too, with the Russian Grand Prix in Sochi already planned for 2014.

"Russia for sure, we have a contract there ... Maybe South Africa, Mexico."

Martin Whitmarsh says Formula 1 must take America by storm
McLaren boss Martin Whitmarsh believes Formula 1 must do all it can to "take America by storm" despite doubts about the Austin Grand Prix.

Formula 1 is scheduled to return to the United States next year, but doubts surround plans to build a grand prix circuit in Austin, Texas, with organisers having admitted they are willing to delay the debut until 2013.
"The fact is we have not made a success of North America. North America does not need us therefore we have to accept that we have to go there and make a success of it, whether it is there or in New Jersey we want to make a success of it."

Yah the messiah needs to return to his rookie year, before he became a star. I feel that stardom has made his head big, that he isn't concentrating on his career as the best driver ever to walk across water. As for kimi, I am glad that he is returning, I feel the reason why they got rid of kimi then masa, is that Ferrari didn't want a awesome driver such as kimi giving Flaming boy Alonso trouble, (bet alonso would have been crying if they kept Kimi) so i feel that is why they kept Massa over Kimi. We all know that kimi is a better driver then massa.

No Sorry, Massa and Kimi were virtually the same at Ferrari. They both need motivation to do their best. On their own, they don't perform at their peak.

Then why did Massa have this poor season? Having the best driver out there as your team mate should be a fairly good motivation!

After the 2010 accident, do you think anyone could be in their top form again?
Despite all the hype about Kubica, I don't think he can return to his previous form either.

Well i think that Kubica's accident is more serious than Massa's one.
Massa has got his sight back to 100% so it all comes back to the ***** in his case. Kubica will probably face harsher problems since the hand coordination and dexterity is fundamental.

In my opinion Massa cracks under stress. Bad pit stops etc didn't help his cause but the several accidents can't be excused.

I don't know, massa accident seemed pretty serious. Hitting a piece of metal at 100+ to hit a wall at the those high speeds seems rather serious. As for kubica, I haven't followed this seasons, so I should utube it.

As aln, I do agree that kimi needs motivation, but to me he was the better driver over massa, he took more chances. Also. I feel that the reason why kimi started going down hill is, because Ferrari would just give up development on a car and start working for next seasons, instead of trying to be the best they claim to be. If I was kimi, I would do the same if the team is giving up also.

Hitting a spring at that speed sure is serious. The consequences were non-permanent though. After the sight and reflexes are back, the whole driver should be back.
Severely damaging an elbow, amputating fingers and hand, then putting them back together is a way bigger cause of concern imho.

I am assuming Al was refering to "Alonso is faster than you, do you copy?" rather than the accidents. Massa's accident was in 2009 not 2010.
