yeah i hope. The forecast says it's going to rain.
Btw craptykeyan is allowed on the grid because he had "adequate" practice pace... nice way to bend the rules of 107%.

This is the only thread i'm going to post on from now on.

This guy from reddit actually summed it up pretty well
Race 1 Australia - Bad clutch settings at start (not really a problem) Pitting him and letting him out behind Perez to get held up (still, with the midfield being so fast not really a problem, will let this one slide).

Points lost - 2, as he shouldnt have lost 2nd to Vettel, but Jenson looked faster this race.

Race 2, Malaysia Pitted him after Button despite changing conditions losing him positions. Slow pit stop. Difficult to determine how much exactly this cost him as towards the end of the race both Perez and Alonso looked faster.

Hard to determine points lost. I'll go with none, because that Sauber looked supreme on the tyres and my memory of this race is a bit foggy.

Race 3 China Questionable pit stop strategy despite a good start by Hamilton, but really hard to blame them too much this race. The pit stops were on the slow side again.

Points lost... hard to say.

Race 4 Bahrain. 2 extremely slow pit stops by the team, costing Hamilton copious amount of time. With his pace the best he would have finished is 4th

Points lost, 8.

Race 5, Spain Under fueled his car for qualifying, despite the fact he was significantly faster than anyone else. Costing him not just a 5 place penalty, but disqualifying him from results.

With the pace of the midfield and the fact that Hamilton has used up all of his tyres I think he'll struggle to make it back into the points. This is a huge mistake when Hamilton should be driving to a podium or win and the championship lead.

I think his raw pace will deliver the goods eventually. But I am certainly getting a bit frustrated with the team here.

edit, the title reads like i am suggesting they are doing it on purpose. They are not. But McLaren is the most advanced team in F1 in my view, they have almost endless resources yet they keep making avoidable mistakes. It was the same last year too.

I think Hamilton will finish well into the points. He has earned enough respect that all of the end of the grid and most of the mid-pack will move over for him and allow him to pass.

6:41 am here. I haven't even had Breakfast yet.

I did say "most of the mid-pack ". There are exceptions. Massa, Button and Webber will probably have to pit early to replace his tires. I believe Hamilton's are pretty fresh. He didn't run the complete last qualifying session.

That's what I had thought too, but to think that he lost out pole and possibly the win... It's just.... devastating. Let's hope. Well at least we get to see him charging through the field. Nice pass on a slower Senna.

I think he used 1 less set than everyone in Q2.

He was hanging on just to remain in control. Hammy needed to miss him.

um.. you have to download the player first. Install it, then everything should be automatic. Choose BBC One, pick the quality you want and magic happens. Though BBC only broadcast half of the races live. Spanish GP is one of them.
