A Tribute To F1’s Mystery Man In A Suit
continued at: http://jalopnik.com/5923241/a-tribut...-man-in-a-suit
I guess I've seen him, but never paid much attention. He is kind of a benign figure for having such a lofty title.
The race is over. Hot girls, effortlessly strenghtening the stereotype of pretty women who can’t comprehend a minute of the race, clap gleefully for the top three. In my private hell, I will surely be forced to watch nothing but them forever and ever.
And suddenly, out of blue, there he is, my savior, a comforting figure. My FACS checks mostly fail on him, but who cares. I’m sure he’s watched the race, he is interested and he cares about these people. His professional routine is simple: promo items, towel, water, some words, no chat, no fake smile. A man who truly respects them and who can create, for a few peaceful moments, space for some honest post-race comments and emotions.

Fight for pole Valencia
Here is a nice comparison of the two quickest drivers at the moment. I say that including their cars into the equation and factoring only qualifying at this time. You can decide how much edge to the quicker is due to his chassis. The most awesome thing to me is that Vettel ran only one hot lap in Q3 to accomplish this which allowed him to save tire life for the race.

I believe the Ferraris have a low downforce setup and the rest of the contenders are setup for the rain. That is why you heard the Fernando radio transmission calling for a red flag. I don't think the Ferraris have caught up to the McReds yet in straight line speed.

Webber was on the right tyres. Not that it matters since Alonso was on hards at the beginning.
Redbull is still the car to beat but ferrari is growing fast.
I'm actually happy for Massa.

Even though I am a big Hamilton fan I'd love to see Webber win a World Championship. For Alonso to win another would be good as well. I think Vettel can take a break from the top since I despise his finger wag. It's also so good to see Massa perform well and Schumi as well.
Great race.

^ Actually it's 25k for Maldonado and 10k for Kob
But... SERIOUSLY? A fine and a reprimand only?

I agree with you. Great strategies from the top teams and great execution as well of course.
