That's a lie

next season could be even better than this one imo
Lewis + Nico two consistent point earners
If RoGro can get more consistent with Raikkonen
Imagine if Maldonado stops driving like an *** and starts putting his qualifying skill to work during race day
Glad I didn't buy my Perez hat this year

Lewis Hamilton to leave McLaren after signing Mercedes contract
continued at: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/19755236
I now see I was scooped on this.
I think this is a mistake. The Merc isn't up to the pace of the McLaren. He will be frustrated in that seat.
Lewis Hamilton is to leave McLaren after signing a three-year deal to race for Mercedes from next season.
The move, predicted by BBC Sport's Eddie Jordan earlier this month, was announced on Friday, causing huge repercussions throughout Formula 1.
It has forced Michael Schumacher out of Mercedes but it is not clear whether the German legend will go back into retirement or look for another team.

McLaren have confirmed that Lewis Hamilton is leaving the team at the end of this season and will be replaced by Sergio Perez.
As to be expected the Woking team announced on Friday morning that Hamilton, who has been associated with McLaren since he was a 13-year-old karter, is on his way out.
Hamilton's seat at the Woking outfit will be filled by rising star Perez, who has impressed many this season with his three podium results for Sauber.

I kind of thought he might go to Mercedes...but darn, didn't think he'd jump ship next year!!!!! ....I think the logic behind it is that Lewis is trying to build a dynasty...kind of like what Schumcher did with Ferrari...take a team with great potential and then start winning everything...kind of building a team around him. Granted, he (LH) had a great team around him in McLaren; however, McLaren was already a great and winning team when he got there...Mercedes...as was Ferrari in Schumi days...is/was not...they are a damn good team with potential, but not all and out winners...
Another thing....I think the best seats to be had in the future are the seats that make their own engines!!!
As far as Perez....man, I dunno??? Honestly, I like Grosean a little better....WHEN HE ISN'T FREAKING CRASHING!!!!

Sauber: Schumi a possibility
-The seven-time World Champion has been left without a race-seat for next year's Championship after losing out to Lewis Hamilton.

Bernie wants 'rid' of V6 engines
continued at: http://www.planetf1.com/driver/3213/...-of-V6-engines
Bernie Ecclestone is still hoping Formula One scraps plans to swap from 2.4-litre V8 engines to 1.6-litre turbo-charged V6s in 2014.
The sport had intended to make the change for the 2013 season but that was delayed by a year with Mercedes and Renault believed to be the two powers pushing for the change to go ahead.
One person who doesn't want it is F1 supremo Ecclestone, who has been against the proposal from the word go. And his attitude has not softened with time.
"I listened to the noise of the engines in Maranello the other day, the new engine and the old engine, and even Luca di Montezemolo said it sounded terrible and didn't like it," Ecclestone told the Hindustan Times.
The 81-year-old is now hoping that FIA President Jean Todt "will get rid of it.

I heard that Hamilton was also motivated by the new engines. With Mercedes being the engine supplier, the hope is that they will have the advantage in tuning etc. Not sure how much of that is true though.
