The italian media noticed something that looks like a hydraulic connector on the redbulls...
Active suspension systems are banned...
Redbull's gap is bigger with the fuel-heavy cars than it is at the end of the races... hint hint!

Very interesting indeed. We will have to see if anything comes out of that observation. A little cheating perhaps ?

Indeed, i bet they're cheating.
In modern day I can't understand how they manage to find a gap with high fuel loads of around 1 sec from the rest of the other top teams (mclaughlin, prancing donkey and renault) and the gap reduces to 2\3 tenths a lap with lower fuel loads while tyre consumption stays the same (less than the competitors).

That connector emerged when they started winning again also, look at the pictures. They didn't have it at the beginning of the season when mclaren was dominant.

Again, it's not possible to boast a 1sec gap vs 3 other top teams all of a sudden without any huge aero changes.

I've been wondering how they can exceed 1 sec gap within 1 lap every time. I just thought Finger King was insanely superior to everyone else. I will keep my eye on this story for sure.

+1!!! Sounds kind of shady!!! And I find it odd that RB is ALWAYS under scrunity for one thing or another. Back when Ferrari were dominating, they wern't being scrutineered like the RB boys.

If I do a google search for "hydraulic connector on the redbull", your post comes up as #1.

Lol, i just reported what the news said.

Anyway Ferrari was too powerful back in the day, they did whatever they wanted, team orders included
Schumacher could go into Coulthard's box and kick his *** with no race bans etc...

Formula E 'stupid' to compete with F1
"I think those sort of things are lawn-mowers. I am not very supportive of this," Ecclestone told PTI.

This is the only thing that, as far as I can remember, Bernie and I have agreed on this year.

He doesn't really agree with you... he's going green anyway with shitty turbo v6 engines.
A whole f1 season wastes less fuel than a boeing travelling from tokyo to new york. They could tell the ambientalists to take over airplanes and crash them on sensible objectives to protest instead of accomodating their requests.

Amazing qualifying. There was no finger wagging at the end of the session . Sebastian has either lost a gearbox, run out of fuel or had an alternator failure. Christian Horner is acting like he does not know what's wrong. Said that Renault told them to shut the car down.

Long long faces from the RB boys in the press conference, especially Seb.

Alonso runs with the new parts and Massa is faster? wtf?
Massa made 2 mistakes (understeer, power oversteer) while doing his flying lap yet he was only 2 tenths slower than nando. Given how he's usually 5\6 tenths slower in qually...
Meh, Ferrari looks doomed.

Yes indeed. The championship is still active. How hard do you think Vettel will push from the back? He will either end up looking brilliant or like a fool. We'll see. Can't wait.

Vettel is quick to lose his poise when starting from the back.
If I were Massa i'd let a race accident happen in a slow corner...

Alonso will crash against grossjohn. No wait, he'll finish 4th.
Vettel must score no points and one of the top 3 cars must crash or retire anyway otherwise nothing will actually change.

Turn one, Weber is going to run into the back of Hamilton. Breaking his nose and causing one of Hamilton's tires to go down. Maldonado will later wreck taking out either Raikkonen or Button, when they are trying to pass him.
Alonso has another perfect race and ends up second. Massa in the meantime takes third. Vettel wrecks, sometime during the race trying to make up ground, by over driving a corner.

Could happen.

I'll be surprised if Hamilton gets a proper start or doesn't mess it up trying to hard to defend going to the first corner. Webber get's fair starts, while Maldanado has been known to jump the gun. It could get hectic in the morning.

What needs to happen is an encounter between Vettel and Alonso. That would keep things exciting, and of course a win from Hamilton .

Webber is the worst starter on the grid lol. Vettel will grab a few points if he doesn't crash by being over zealous (which i hope he will) maldonado is the x factor. Could go either way. Grossjean is too worried to mess up with his seat still insecure for next year. Im hoping alonso will capitalize tomorrow with at least 13 points more than Vettel Hamilton will probably win but Im hoping alonso will take at least second place. Screw Vettel lol. Funny guy on top gear but Im sick of the finger and so sick of red bull. When he drives for ferrari i might become a fan. I didn't like alonso in his renault days either. At mclaren he started to change my mind. Im a die hard ferrari fan but i like aggressive drivers like Hamilton.

It gets even better: Horner: Vettel to start from pitlane - GPUpdate.net

Vettel is definitely not a bad driver but he's not as complete as Alonso. He still cracks under pressure and lacks the global view. He also can't overtake as aggressively as Alonso. They both have talent but they express it through different tools.
Hamilton lacks any kind of view, he just goes flat out and whines when there are problems. "My car does this" "i lack grip" blah blah blah, just shut up and drive... i never heard that kind of team radio come from any other driver on the grid.

Maldonado is a ticking bomb. One time he doesn't make it to q3, the other time he slaughters better cars like mclaren and ferrari. Strange guy.
Perez is probably the best young driver in there, yet i hope that Kobayashi keeps a seat for next year. He looks genuinely nice and his speech at suzuka cracked me up

Maldonado said he's going for a 1 pit stop strategy, like most teams.
