Alonso is on a mission...
He faked an overtake on the first variante just to put webber on a wrong trajectory.... then he just swept past him at the end of the straight.

He's a real champion.

Mercedes is on an interesting strategy for Lewis. Vettel is having some issues as well.

I don't think Lewis can hear his team telling him to pit due to radio issues. He's running quickest laps. He should still score points today.

Webber was putting pressure on Nando but has just been told they have problems and to short shift. Gearbox going south?

On tracks like Monza, they should pull the barriers and open the first chicane for the opening lap. The cars aren't going fast enough, from a standing start, to be required to slow down. Give the cars a chance to string out and avoid that opening lap crunch.
