You are 100% correct, when nothing was done to Webber in Silverstone 2011, then again after Brazil in 2012 or even after his comments he would not help his team mate after the USGP, Horner made it clear he does not have any control of the team.

If Seb stays at RBR, Mark will be gone, if RBR decides to keep Mark, I see Vettel going to Ferrari, every driver on the grid wants to drive for Ferrari.

Vettel knows that all he gets is a slap on the wrist. Small price to pay for 8 points plus 250 grand or so winners bonus.... But Horner said it was "revenge" for Brazil 2012. One of those won't be a red bull driver next year. We haven't seen the last of this. I can't wait to see what happens next time they meet on track.

I remember that! That idiot coulthard driving slowly on the driving line on Spa in the wet on the second fastest part of the track. Schumacher couldn't judge coulthard's speed because of the spray and ran into him. Driving the car home on three wheels and running into the McLaren pit to kick coulthard's *** Haha! Was fantastic! The McLaren pit full of Ferrari personell holding him back.

Formula 1 is a TEAM sport. The TEAM comes first. Then the driver. If the team issues an order the driver has to obey. Simple as that. With 19 races and only 8 engines it made no sense to race till the end between team mates because it wouldn't change anything in the constructor standing.

Agreed 100% both Mark and Sebastian need to get on board with that and one has to wonder if Horner is up to the task.

Will anything happen to Seb? Most likely not, a fine would be a slap on his wrist and the most they will do. All these idiots calling for him to be suspended for a race are not thinking of the best interest for the team. They want their constructors points, sitting Seb out will remove a podiums worth of points from that race, something they cannot afford because Mark is a light switch he is either on or off, if he is off he will finish on the edge of the points. Then it is up to Seb to haul in the points with a podium finish.

I am not a religious man but pride comes before the fall.... And having witnessed pride on Sunday I will enjoy watching him fall eventually. Hopefully this year but I doubt it. Once Newey has the tire wear under control it'll be like 2011.

Yeah... And Sundays decision to keep him out didn't help things. Hopefully that's his "spa" for this year. Ferrari is in a better position but so is lotus red bull and Mercedes. McLaren losing out big time. If alonso can keep getting podiums and with Massa able to take points away this year, it's not looking to bad as long as Ferrari wall personell don't do what McLaren did last year.

Schumacher was a team player. Vettel isn't. When Schumacher broke his leg and he came back, he tried to help Irvine win the championship. Vettel wouldn't do the same for webber.

We'll see how long it'll take. Next year with the new regulations red bull might just be a mid field team again. You never know. Vettel might get stupid and leave red bull. (if he joins Ferrari I will become a die hard Hamilton fan because that means Alonso retired)

We can rehash silverstone 2011 or Brazil 2012 but this is current. He's a paid driver in service of the team and he should have obeyed. Like Rosberg did. And Hamilton in front of the whole world gave him credit. That's a team mate and sportsman right there.

Exactly for the team... That's the whole point here. Both drivers did what the team wanted. It's no different now than it was then. Alonso is in Schumacher's place and Massa in Barichello's. It's the Ferrari way. But and it's a big but, it's the way the team wants it to be. Vettel is a spoiled brat that gave his word before the race during the team meeting when strategies and orders are discussed, thinking it'll work out for HIM. but when they didn't he said **** you to his team and his team mate.
