Alonso is one of those drivers who can make any car fast, Schumacher could do it, Hamilton can manage it from time to time but when it's not going right he does get a bit whiney. Vettel clearly can't cope when he's not in the fastest machine out there as he's proper average.

I love his impact wrench.

Q: "How do you change your tires?"
A: "With a sledgehammer."

Alonso is great no doubt. The renault back in 2005-2006 was a damn good car. Fisichella didn't do too bad either. In 2005 the Mclaren and Renault were pretty evenly matched. Alonso won because of reliability issues with Mclaren. This season is still young so hopefully Ferrari can challenge Mercedes in the upcoming races. I will continue to be cautiously optimistic about Kimi turning things around.

It's nice to watch Vettel look more and more like a driver who needs a better car than a better who just needs any old car.

Also, as a Kimi fan this year has just been painful.

Lewis is killing it. I've never seen Nico look upset until now. The race should be interesting tomorrow.

Also Ricciardo is super strong while Vettel's world seems upside down and finally Kimi has done a better qualifying than Fernando. Nando might still beat him though .

Boring, boring f1.
The more they **** with the rules to improve something the more they mess with the pecking order.

F1 is dead.

The race was pretty boring. I was surprised by Vettle making it to 4th place. Also, poor Kimi, I really think he hates that Ferrari.

Monaco predictions

I will be surprised if Lewis dominates Nico here this year. Based upon last year, Nico seemed to be in touch with every cm of ground at that circuit. We shall see. My hat is definitely off to anyone who can beat Nico here. The Redbulls should be quicker here than they've been and their chassis is VERY capable. Will Daniel still beat Seb and will Alonso continue to trump Kimi?

I think this will be fun to see, especially qualifying.

Paul.

Alonso owns Kimi.
The problem is that they're racing with tricycles...

The action is on. Q3 and Rosberg is looking as dangerous as I predicted. We shall see.

Did Rosberg cause the yellow flags on purpose? Lewis is absolutely PISSED!

Props to him if he did. What a nice way to show the middle finger to his team mate after Ham said he was hungrier than rosberg.

Nice nice nice!

Now... let's get back to the fact of how slow and poor handling these cars are please.
2 secs slower than they were 10 years ago, when they didn't even use full slicks. 2 secs slower than last year, when they had slicks but underpowered v8 engines and crippled aerodynamics.

Think about what will happen at Spa.

I hope somebody gets hurt at the eau rouge because of the lack of downforce.

Please bring f1 back!

I'm a fan of a fair fight. You should be creative without cheating, IMO.

In other news, Vettel is having the worse year ever.

Lewis, who is currently losing time due to an eye problem, is running the risk of Ricciardo catching him with 10 laps to go.

Thankful for the HANS device, for more than one person today.

Big congrats to Daniel Ricciardo today! What a great driver and overall pleasant chap. He will win a championship someday.

You know I care about your neck brother. Mr Downing has sold the company so it's out of my 'Hands' now.
