I wonder why they cant fit the supercharger off a Jag XKR on this puppy?

as do I...I can't wait for the dbrs9 (the street car, not the race car) to be released. If the power specs are similar to the James Bond DBS (650hp), its gonna be a monster.
Oh what I would not do to get an Aston Martin

Indeed. the DB9 is unequivocally one of the sexiest cars past or present. The only other car currently that comes close to the DB9's sense of understated beauty is, crazily enough, the Vantage.
Every time i see these cars, i just want to lick them.
When I bought my rx8 at Galpin, I had to wait for it to be delivered from Santa Clarita. While waiting, the sales guy took me on a tour of the facilities. He took me up to the Jag showroom, and into a "secret" passageway that had one of those rotating entrance way (ala decompression chamber). This entrance opened up into a very posh bar room. In the middle of this room was a giant turntable with a db9 volante sitting on it. The sales guy pressed some buttons, the lights dimmed, music started playing, the turntable started turning and he says "get in, check it out". I got in the car and nearly creamed my jeans. It was simply amazing. It was as if at that moment the moon and the stars aligned and everything was in a state of perfection. After a few minutes sitting in that vision of splendor, I HAD to get out and not look at it, because it was making my brand new rx8 look and feel like a toy.

After that, the sales guy took us down to the Pimp My Ride studio, which is also a museum of sorts. We got to sit in the saleen from Bruce All Mighty. That was without a doubt THE most uncomfortable car i've ever been in. There is no possible way to look slick when climbing in because of the vertical doors, you kind of have to duck-squat-turn-fall into the car. Once inside, the seating position and pedals are set such that you are basically lying down. Whats more, the pedals are offset to the right, so you are lying down at an angle to the road. Rear visibility is non-existent, side mirrors are a joke, clutch feels like its connected to one of those old railroad switches, etc. etc.

"If only I were rich" I think I need to add to that "and I lived in CA"
That is awesome, I love the saleen too, but interesting to hear the problems with it.
The DB9 story is awesome, I haven't sat in the VP's yet doubt I ever will, the closest I have come was puting some computer equipment in it because my boss didn't want to be responsible
I didn't think twice, just said "Ok, i'll be back in in a couple minutes."
