Put 22's on the Cayenne...PICS
So yeah a road hazard shredded my stock tire, so I figured it was time. Was going to just do 20's, but they seemed too plebian.
here's the wheels:

Lemans series in black. What do you guys think?
Here's the pics (Not the best pics, I was in a hurry, but you get the idea)

I've thought about it, but I don't want to mess with the suspension at all. Most people don't really drop them...I don't know if you've ever driven a Cayenne, but for an SUV it has a very stiff ride...

stop trying to make your big truck into a 911. Its a truck.- well, sort of. In my opinion, not quite a real porsche. I think modding any more will just turn that thing further and further away from already suspect Porsche credentials. Thats just my opinion though, and its your ride.
so to each his own, and good luck to you.

porsche made one of the best SUV's available on the market, and because they also happen to make a car that was their hallmark for the past 60 years or so, it is violating its porsche credentials.
The Cayenne is the fastest SUV ever. and its offroad capabilities are what wet dreams are made of. From what I understand the only complaint anybody has about the Cayenne (other than the crap about how it isn't "really" a porsche and too-stiff suspension. pansies.) is that it's stock tires are not suited for offroad use. The rx-8's stock tires aren't well suited for on-road use.

Its like buying a CX-7, modding it to emulate an Rx8. 2 good cars, but c'mon, its silly. Pick what you want.
I also wished shaolin luck, but said its not for me. Don't let my opinion **** you off, its just my opinion after all.

Haha you call wheels and a drop "modding to the point where it's silly?"
Interesting. Not a real Porsche too? Wow okay...well let's see...designed in Stuttgart, manufactured in Leipzig. Sounds pretty Porsche to me.
Last time I checked the 350Z was designed in California, with a French engine. So I guess it's not really a Nissan then.
Well anyways I don't really care. I could have afforded a mid level 911 or a cayman, but my work and my lifestyle required an SUV. Excuse me if I needed an SUV with sports car behavior.
Oh by the way...the Cayenne has been known to hold its own on the track with some 911's. Go figure..
BTW the air suspension was the one option I didn't opt for, but apparently the car handles better with H&R sport springs...here's a picture of it with the springs. Very mild drop.
Sorry offroad capabilities while nice to have, are not something I use, so I'm not concerned with hurting offroad capabilities. Let's just be real here. But according to the guys on the Porsche forums the offroad capabilities don't suffer with the H&R springs.
