puttering engine
I recently removed my car from winter storage. Before I started driving the car I observed that the dipstick had some gunky white stuff on it. I checked various forums and they all lead to condensation. So, I completed an oil change and have been driving the car for the last 3weeks.
Today, I just started the car and began to drive... just a short distance away the car began to putter, and the engine light began to blink.. I began to loose power and was able to get the car back to my place. I checked the dipstick and it still had the gunky crap on it, and you could even see some what appeared to be water dripping off the stick. It's been a couple of hours now and the car will not start..
Can anyone give some insight on what is going on!!!!

Well, the gunk on the dipstick is not abnormal, use the search function and u will see whats thats all about. Its not a BIG deal and is not causing ur car to throw a CEL and act like it did. Im guessing its spark plug/ coil related...
