I believe most people do get a CEL by going catless. Although some members including myself have reported getting no CEL. I had the Agency Power midpipe on.

I got a cell, but I also have a ODBII reader to get rid of it.

I was wondering about that. I just got a midpipe and had the AP before... so does it automatically turn that off? What if you were keeping your cat and wanted to know if it was failing?

I have the RP supercat and asked MM the same question, His response, "when your cat fails, you'll KNOW!"
performance apparently goes to ****, it'll probably smell funny, and I would imagine it would glow red hot. (more then usual)

So can you pass inspection with no cat, and the AP?

it depends. Some places only check for the CEL's and give stuff a look over, while other places will actually test your emissions. I'm going to have to switch back to my midpipe with cat to get inspection done.

Yes, the Cobb Accessport and a tune from Mazda Maniac will mask the CEL. That is what the people above your post are talking about.

No. Turbo XS is 3 inch at that connection where the Agency Power tapers down to stock size. But it is kind of a weird question considering that both the Agency Power and Turbo XS exhausts come with a midpipe so why would would you need to mix and match?

Now remember to do your research before you go ordering with the turboxs pipes. If I remember reading, you have to entend the tips because they will melt the plastic back there. Something to think about. Even some pics of melting shrapnel around here somewhere.
