If I thought this was a serious post I would have shut it down long ago.

....and the forum would have been short one "turbine"

I was gaining on them. No ****. They could not shake me. As they would weave and and nail it, I would do the same. Cornering at 85-90 around turnpikes, Rx-8 was superior. Freakin tore a hole in their ***. Maybe their backseat riders were prohibiting them from going harder. Don't know what kind of bikes or size, but they were at least 900's. When I came around them around 130, I am sure flames were coming out of my tailpipes. I love this car. From 80 to 150 this thing is bad ***.

Good day

You're an idiot. I'm glad I don't live in Memphis.

Guys.......it's clear that turbine has never been on a sport bike in his life and has no idea of the capabilities. 9,000rpm on a bike sounds like it's working hard but anyone who's owned one knows that's just when the fun starts. It's entirely possible everything happened as he said it did as both bikes had someone riding bitch. It's possible the bike owners were new to their bikes and were scared to push them.....or the riders on the back were screaming to slow down. In either case the RX8 could easily hang with bikes that were not being pushed to their limits. I've owned 600, 750 and 1000cc bikes and all three could be followed closely by a car like the RX8 when I was at mid throttle. These bikes don't get nasty until their over 9,000 rpm.

But the RX8 has a rotary engine...Those bike's tiny engines can't keep up with that!
