Talking Rental Review: 2007 Nissan Maxima

Wow what a renter! I took my car in for the "t" flash and they hooked it up with a 07 Maxima with 500 miles.

Exterior:
BIG, the car looks big and the one I got was white...and I'm a little meh about white but overall the car has a nice look to it. Nothing that will stand out or very I catching but clean.

Interior:
Lots of room, very well designed. Doesn't feel too plasticy but isn't as welcoming as the 8s interior. Seperate AC controls for driver and passenger, radio controls on the steering wheel and other things make it feel well....nifty. Didn't like the actual buttons they used for the controls on the steering wheel, the were small and awkward.

Drive and Feel:
The Maxima included the "no key needed" ignition. Just keep your keyless entry thingy in your pocket, reach over and vrooomm. The engine is a V6 3.5L 255hp fun box. The car is super super smooth and the sport shifter amazing. Steering wheel might be a tad too sensitive but you can get use to it. Very quiet inside as well. Some what of a detached feeling from the car but that could be that it's an auto.

Overall:
Excellent rent-a-car, excellent daily driver I'm sure and overall good ride.

P.S.
Jack *** 2 was funny as hell

The previous unrefreshened Maxima was blah. Bad bad interior. The refreshed one looks to have a better interior. I still don't think Nissan is building high-quality interiors though.

It probably still does have massive torque steer though. Id drive something else in that that price range for a four door car.
