Las Vegas NV, November 1, 2005 - Jack Roush today introduced the 2006 Roush Stage 3 Mustang, the quickest, fastest, best-handling, and most dramatically styled Mustang in the company’s history.
The Roush Performance Products (RPP) Stage 3 Mustang uses a Roots-type ROUSHcharger system, a water-to-air intercooler, high-flow fuel injectors, a new aluminum intake manifold, exclusive Roush calibration, and 5 psi of boost, combined with a performance-tuned exhaust system, to generate 417 horsepower. A Roush Performance Products handling package, including front and rear coil springs, front and rear stabilizer bars, front struts, and rear shocks allows the Stage 3 Mustang to achieve a lateral acceleration of over 1g on a skidpad.
"We went the extra mile on our suspension tuning. We’ve always been known for horsepower, but with this offering, enthusiasts are really going to take notice of our handling and suspension dynamics," said Joe Thompson, general manager of Roush Performance.
The RPP Stage 3 Mustang includes an aerodynamic body kit: front fascia, hood scoop, rocker moldings, quarter window louvers, chin spoiler, rear fascia, and rear wing. It comes with Roush leather interior, Roush performance gauges, and a Roush Performance Products dual exhaust system. The Stage 3 Mustangs will carry 3-year or 36,000 mile warranty.

Kenne Bell Twin Screw S/C > Saleen S/C > Rousch S/C
Ever seen the prices on those Rousch cars? Even more nuts than Saleen. I'd get a GT, full exhaust (incl'd headers), Ford Racing suspension, and a Kenne Bell S/C. It'd cost a lot less and go even faster.

lol.....somebody in my neighborhood recently got themselves a 2006 Saleen. Man, that thing sounds beefy! White w/black stripes. I'm so jealous.....or probably not since it probably gets worse MPG than my 8

My 650 hp mustang gets 15 mpg on a mix of city and highway.
My roomates 400 hp zo6 gets 20-25 mpg
my 200 hp 8 gets 19-23 average
when you look at hp in relation to mileage the 8 flat out blows.

The site I posted on had many known Ford service advisors monitoring. There was speculation that they were compiling a list of modified Cobras to void warranties on. Everyone on there just seemed to do it.
