"Most RX-8 buyers are not out to control the streets." my parents didnt buy it to control the streets, but i like having fun.
alright thanks for the help. i was just messing around bowman i didnt kno about the street racng rules. wrx why does it scream " I'm some stupid kid and I'm going to make up a BS story to make myself sound cool." i could care less if people in this forum who i will never meet think im cool or not. you have no idea how puerto rican high schoolers act around here. next time ill take a closer look at the car and get all the proper names for everything he has on it then i wont sound so much like bs will it?

Bike are dangerous man.
That's why I call them Zoom Splats. Yo go Zoom, then splat.
For 12k your in between on Rx7's.
You can get a FD(3rd gen/93-95) but you run the chance of getting a bad one.
I wouldn't recommend a 3rd gen unless you already have a year of EXP wioth rotaries and know the in's and out's of them.
An FC(86-91) is a more reliable car.
A turbo model will sell for around $5000.
Mileage is probable going to be near 100k. Which means a rebuild is coming up if you want to boost around confidently. A rebuild can be had for $1500-3000
The FC is going to be a little better for you to learn on than an FD. I've known too many people which jump into FD's and wrap them around poles.![Frown](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Here is apic of my non turbo 2nd gen so you know what they look like.

Then the turbo engine

This whole thing including turbo conversion has cost me around 8-9k.
This is
Series 4 1988 GTU(non turbo)
Rebuilt Jspec engine
Rebuilt turbo
Turbo Tranny
Walbro fuel pump
Carbon Fiber FC3S.org Turbo hood
New everything....
I expect around 220HP but I made the car mild(streetable).
So if you had 12k you can make a damn good FC and still have some money to spare(which is needed with Rx7's lol)
