I'm sure this comment has been made before, but I have never read a thread where forum members actually encourage someone to buy an RX-8. Are we trying to prevent future whiners or do we just like being the only RX8s on the road?

i pwn therefore i am
There are definitely threads where people encourage posters to get an RX-8. Basically, if you come in here singing the 8's praises people will immediately start telling you to buy one and then start making a lot of comments about how only true "enthusiasts" really "get it". I mean, this forum is great and better than most others I've seen, but it's pretty comical how predictable it can be.

advice
Hey, about the thoughts of a 8 and a 350Z:
I have a 8, and i love the way car is formed, motor wise for a 1.3 rot. but it all really comes down to money, the 350Z is going to be high in insurance cause of the fact its 2 seats, and 2 doors! but it all really comes down to what you really want.... the oil situation is totally normal for the rotory motor, but for the way its supposed to be ran at 9500 rpm's explains the oil situation, but all in all i decided to get the 8 and i havent looked back yet, and i havent had problems yet!
