RX8 Best Car New or Used $20,000
Oct. Car and Driver has the RX-8 in it's selection of best cars new or used for $20,000. Quote; "Rx-8 teaches the value of precision and momentum-and it's very good at precision". Remember it also has three "10Best Awards", can't think of any car of this type that can match that. 3 series? My wife still can't figure out why I love this car!

I think depreciation put it there...which is both good and bad...Good for whoever went out and got one under 15k, great buy in my opinion. Bad for whoever went out and dished like 35k after taxes

Totally agree, my limit was around 15k after totalling my first 8. And after driving several cars in the same price bracket (GTI, WRX, Mini S, 328i, 350z) the 8 just made so much sense mpg aside. So i found a shinka literally 3 miles away and bought it the same day.

You may want to read the latest Motor Trend that compares 10 cars for the best drivers car. The Camaro SS rated last with the Mazda MX5 in 3rd place and if they had an RX in the mix I'm sure it would also be high on the list. Besides I haven't an SS offered at a Chevy dealer that wasn't 8-10k oversticker.
