It's kind of funny to see people talking about how "UV light can be reflected to blind traffic cameras." I don't think they realize that our sun puts out massive amounts of UV radiation already, and that most cameras are fitted with UV blocking lens filters. Digital ones in particular have the filters built right in as the CCD in it can pick up UV light and it's rarely desirable for them to do so (for the exact reason shown above).
You'd be better off mounting your license plate on a mechanism that can flip over to show a different plate. Any device you put over your license plate to prevent red light cams from working on you is just going to **** off any cop who sees it and make them cite you for every single violation on your car (and if you've got blood soaked saran wrap all over your license plate, chances are there are more then a few violations). At least with a plate changing device you'd actually fool the red light cam before the cops pulled you over and cited you for it.

^It's not that we enjoy flaming people. It's just that what you are trying to do is illegal, and something that a "ricer" would do. Therefore alot of people on this site look down upon things like that.
