Sedan thoughts TL or G35?

You want to sit in the back seat ?? Then you will have to buy the TL..the G35 back seat is for "little people" :0: there is no way a normal shaped adult will fit back there.
The G35 is a bit heavy....it plows through the turns...and feels about as responsive as a tank...

I've haven't driven the '07 G35 but the added power should be really nice. FWIW given the choice between the two I'd have a hard time choosing. You'd better head to the dealerships and go for some test drives .

Haven't driven the G, but we have an 05 TL. Really nice car. Great handling for a mid-sized, FWD sedan. Very refined, engine is very smooth (almost as smooth as a rotary, but not quite). Gets decent mileage, sometimes a little better than the EPA estimates. Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions.

My wife has the TL. Its a great car. I really dont care for the Sound System inside and it being FWD.
Besides that, its a GREAT car!
I havent driven the G35 Sedan so I couldnt compare the two. Just my two cents.

you should test drive them both, G35 sedan is a compact car more in line with the bmw 3 series while the TL is much bigger, almost as big as the M. The acura competitor to the G35 is the TSX.
performance wise its no comparison heavily in G35 sedan's favor, but TL hes a more forgiving suspension and better stability on wet surfaces. G35's Y rated tires are also extremely expensive, 370 bucks a piece and they are only good for about 15,000 miles. TL has less performance oriented tires that last a lot longer

I took my friend's '06 G35 sedan for spin. IMO, it's a solid, very responsive well-built car. The steering response as well as turning radius were also first rate. The ride wasn't as smooth as some other luxo cars but it wasn't bad at all. If I had to choose, it would be an easy choice, g35.

We just ordered 2007 G35 for my wife. We drove the TL and she currently has a 2000 TL. The TL has a nicer interior and a sportier look. I think the TL has one more year of this body style and then is due for a completly new design. That was a major issue as we keep our cars 7-8 years.
I have always felt the the current TL was "trying" too hard to be something it isn't. I don't think the current TL is going to age well. I can't fault anyone for buying a TL, there sure are alot of them on the road. Our current TL has been a great car and the service has been excellent, although some of the maintenance was more expensive than on my former Mercedes!
We also drove an RL, at $50 it was way overpriced but I was reading on some forums last fall that 06's were gong for $10k off MSRP. Not nearly as sporty as a TL or G but a nice car, and a great interior. If I could have bought one for $40k then I might have considered it more.
My wife did not want to look at the Infini, but I told her I was uncomfortable buying any car without at least driving the G first. She loved it. I don't think she understands how much better a RWD handles, she just knew she really liked it when she drove it. We ordered a Slate Blue with premium and navigation packages. We did not get the sport package, my wife is 5 foot nothing and the seats did not fit her well. I personally would have gotten the sports package if it were my car. She thought the paddle shifters were "annoying"!! The G should be here the end of May.
PM me if you have any questions.

I drive the TL on a weekly basis and it has to be one of the smoothest cars I have driven, Very comfortable drive and has a vert impressive interior design. Driven the G35 as well, just didnt as refined as the TL. my 2 cents.
