so i got myself a BMW 135i
decided i needed a new car after the motor in my 8 blew. it's a 2009 135i, black on black, sport/premium package, navigation, and heated seats. i'll try to get pics of it this weekend.
as for the 8, it's down right now. i'm going to get another mazda reman and get it running again. the turbo kit is coming off and i'm going back to n/a. so look out for a greddy turbo kit for sale in the future.
just thought i'd update you guys on what's going on in my exciting life...

The Bimmer is nice - if you like German economy cars! j/k
I did repeatedly rear-end one of those at Willow Springs last month. Well, inches from rear-ending, anyway.

i believe the wastegate actuator on the stock greddy turbo failed. i can't remember what happened exactly cause it happened so fast. following a caravan to a rx8 meet, i had to pass a car in front of me. i went to accelerate and next thing you know the car starts to shake and stumble. later on i get home and remembered my DEFI gauges have a memory option. the boost hit 15 psi for a max. so i'm assuming that the wastegate actuator failed to operate correctly and cause the boost spike. she was running so well too...******* shame. no blame on cobb/mm, it was just a hardware malfunction.
but no worries, i'm not leaving this club. i'm still obsessed with my 8.

i suck at reviews man. sorry! they're two totally different cars, i can't compare the two. the bimmer definately has more power, but i think my turbo 8 will give it a run for it's money (not any more ). handling wise, the 8's chasis feels tighter and neutral. it's a very easy car to handle, very forgiving and predictable. you have to understand tho, i have totally forgot what i stock rx8 feels like and this comparison is between my heavily modified RX8 and a bone stock 135i. i mainly got it because of my employee discount and the fact that i know how to work on BMW's. AND, if i need any work done to the 135, i get paid to work on it...woot!

^^fo sho. it's not the prettiest BMW. but, i'm sure i can make it work. the stock RX8 looks goofy to me, but if you do it right, it's one of the sexiest cars ever made.

grats, I almost bought one of these before buying my 8 since it had just come out but they were asking way too much for it plus a wait since they had to order it so I said whatever ill pay less and save and turbo the 8 lol
