It was in the 70's, most designs looked that way, but i think it pretty cool info. I had no idea someone put one on a bike.

what's so lame about it? bikes in general? this bike? idea of rotary in a bike??

did Triumph come out with a 2.3 litre bike? Heard it's got like 160hp and 160lb/ft torque? imagine the 1.3L renesis in a bike =)

Did anybody click on the .wav file. The sound was interesting. How big would a NA renesis be to output at least 150 HP in order to compete in today's market? I read somewhere that the rotors spinning actualy hurt the handling of the bike (gyroscopic precession).

i was wondering that too...about the rotor's spin affecting the handling...when i was 12 i had a gallon milk jug filled halfway with water by bungee cords and it sure messed up my riding esp at accelerating/decelerating.....(i'm sure we all can relate) any science guys out there that could prove this???

i have a 76 yamaha 400 RD that puts out similar numbers regarding hp and fuel economy. it's too bad it didn't sell better
loved the article!!
