To be honest, I didn't read your post in length. I really don't care if someone bought something else. I stated that in my second post. I personally feel that the Lexus is a little bland coming from the 8 but I then reiterated that it will be fun for that new owner to dress it up as he/she desires. The 8 is gone. Did you not read my post yourself? I bought my wife a 2005 Durango Limited and am in the process of deciding what I want. When someone says basically "See ya, I got rid of the 8 for ______", you open yourself for comments. I don't have the 8 anymore so that ruins your argument I am jealous. I am happy for anyone that gets something they like.

I like these forums still because there are some pretty decent people here.
Oh, like I said before I only read the first post by you and I was commenting only on the first post. It's just something that I've noticed a lot on this forum. If someone mentions another car, someone always feels the need to bash the other car. I didn't intend to point the finger at you directly, more like I was wondering why so many people did something like that.

But I guess these "see ya, I moved to a new car" threads do sound kinda like they're bashing the 8 a bit. I never took it that way though.

Goodluck with your IS350. Hope you enjoy your Lexus for many years to come. However, it's pointless trying to sell your opinion on how great the Lexus IS350 is. You probably know that RX8 owners like myself are passionate about the car. If I were to change my RX8 to another brand... I would just say my last farewell and to at least say thank you to the former forum members. I would also consider joining a Lexus IS350 forum so you can at least express on how much you love your new car. AT least on that forum everyone will agree with you.

IS350 is a great family/luxury car by the way. I believe it is a good choice for you... I am sure your Lexus will give you trouble-free motoring. I also know how reliable Lexus brand can be from first hand experience.

If I ever had a question and it was answered on the forum I always give thanks. Sorry bud, Not going anywhere. And if you read the post, This is a lease, because I do intend to come back whenever the real power comes back =).

Glad to know you have plans coming back to a rotary car! Someday anyway.
