Supra is coming as early as spring 2006
taking a page from Nissan, Supra will be built on the new IS/GS platform as 350Z is build on the G/M platform. This way they will be able to keep cost low. Engine will be 4.0L V6. I expect 330-350hp

I'm glad to see that the new Supra with a corporate platform and motor. The car should be able to be marketed in the same price range as the RX-8/350Z. Sure RX-8 sales may go down if that is the case and Mazda doesn't built a coupe version, but at least there will be another affordable rwd Japanese sports car in the market.

^yup, me too. If the new Supra does look like that, I'll give it some very serious consideration.
The Tokyo Auto Show in October is shaping up to be the return of Japan's early '90's near supercars. The GT-R is almost certain to make a showing, a Supra Concept seems likely as well. Still on the fence (or best kept secrets?) are the NSX replacement and RX-7 concept (or some kind of RX coupe). I can't wait for October...

Yeah, but the talk about the Toyota super car had it over well over $100K. While the buzz about a possible Supra had it a bit more down to earth, maybe between $30-$60K, who knows.
