I think they're great cars but I'd worry about a used one. Unless you personally know the history of the car I'd stay away. Those cars just beg to be driven hard and if the previous owner didn't do so responsibly (properly warm up and cool down the car, regular maintenance etc...) it might give you some problems.

Yes. And the OP doesn't seem to be able to grasp the concept of grammar and giving us any information beyond a run on sentence.

im a big fan of the EVO but its not one of the more reliable cars, i personally probably wouldnt consider a 100k+ mile car of any brand, possibly camry or accord or civic or corolla if im desperate... just my 2 cents,

if you want an EVO get a new one or a slightly used one like Ike did.

^ I agree.

A car in which the drivers drive it hard and it has 96K...

I'd stay away.

Since when did we become the evo evaluation board?
I agree with Swoope that it will make it to 100k miles - so yes, you should buy it no matter what the cost.

hey - that Kiwi grew up racing RX3s & RX7s just down the road from me . He was like the god of rallying even back then ......

At one stage I heard he was developing a 4wd RX7 for pikes peak but I guess the EVO was an easier platform to make competitive.
Pretty sure his heart is with the rotaries though

I don't know about that... Considering he drifts a GTO and owns and converts Evo to RWD for drifting.
