Don't do it. We bought a 2003 last year with about the same mileage and it's been problem after problem. We had to change out the brakes, clutch and hoses. Now the transfer case is starting to act up. Like everyone else says, people buy evo's to drive the crap out of them and that's probably what the previous owner did.

OK you got me there but for the best part of 10yrs he was driving nothing but rotaries .
He recently took part in a nostalgia rally here driving a first gen Rx7 .
Great to see him doing well over there .
BTW I notice he had some high performance LSDs for RX8 &7 on his site if anyone is interested.
