The RX-8 is the original car design that every other car is based off of. Didn't you guys know that?

The RX8 design is so advanced that Mercedes copied the strakes before the 8 was even out

Well to tell you the truth Ford had the strakes out on the 1978 Lincoln

They were called Shark Gills.

Anyone else with historical input?

NASA copied the RX-8 too...shamelessly. The Challenger could have been seperated at birth if you look closely.

Talking about replica design, recall my memory the Saturn did it couple yrs ago (00 -01 not exactly remember) the back door can flip open exactly the way now the 8 does. Who copied who, you tell me.

Tiburion loves to copy the body shape of celica in its 1st generation, the four eyes head light and the body shape and curve after the door panel was almost exact the same with the celica.

Believe or not, your research will tell.

I also have a '96 GMC Yukon 2 door 4x4. And when I park my blue 8 and green yukon side by side......Twins.......TWINS I tell you.

The Yukon has black rubber tires......wonder where they got that idea. THE 8!!!!
The Yukon has windshield wipers.....again, Mazda influenced technology.
My Yukon even has a drivers, AND passengers side front seat.........and so does the 8.

There are too many similarities to ignore.....GMC copied Mazda RX8's before the RX8 was even built. Seems to me Mazda has an inside leak.
