Top Gear's Richard Hammond in critical condition after crash during shoot.

His condition was listed in the article as critical earlier but thankfully it's now stable.

i don't mean to offend any1 but I'd like to put my 2 cents in. Something like this was bound to happen. The 3 of them (Clarkson, May, & Hammond) love to go wild and over the top with their scripts as of late. This last season alone they burnt down a tent & RV trailer, Hammond raced that skydiver in a 2.5 ton, 512 bhp, Cayanne Turbo S on that rally road using high speed road tires, and Hammond (again) rolled that van in the "police stig vs. van chase." I confess I'm much like him, I'll try/dare anything at least once, and I doubt he would regret doing anything he has done, I'm just saying this doesnt come as a surprise.

Well he's wearing a lot of clothes so you can't see where they cut into him. He is also limping when he walks in. Without a scratch is a bit of a stretch. But glad to see him up and about.
