Let's try to keep it civil people.
The bashing/flaming and off topic posts aren't really necessary.
The guy picked up a very nice car and that's nothing to be pissy or irritable about. This is a public forum and all are welcome so he has every right to post.
Thanks,
Ajax

There's something about that LS1 V8 that just ... grabs ya. When I first go from the GTO back to the RX-8 she just feels and sounds rather anemic in comparison... at least until I take her around a few corners. Then I'm smiling again!
So I can understand why the man went for the 'Vette. By the way, the license plate frame for our Goat says
GTO: Australian for Vette.

The corvettes performance is amazing, I have to agree with that.. The Rx8 doesnt even come close. But the build quality is terrible
Are american designers blind when it comes to fit and finish??

Got the generations mixed up? I told you what year my friend has. The only thing I got mixed up on was calling it a Cobra when he has a Mach 1 automatic. You'll probably need to find something bigger to knock me off my intellectual pedestal. Talking about Mustangs has little to do with intelligence.
Any Mustang owner in this forum who is in denial should probably spend more time on a Mustang forum.

Bad combination of traits, to be sure, but you have to play the cards you are dealt....queen high in your case. Want to raise?
This post is all about ego. Turn your ego outward, not inward. Yes, there is a world outside you full of people who will instantly reinforce your inferiority.

Well--back on topic--last gen Cobra, C5, and C6 are badass. Definately a trade up--I probably would be if this was like a trade to a 350Z/Mini Cooper S/RSX/or R32 :p
