pennies on the dollar my good man.
That means we should be able to get his kit for pennies on the dollar right?

some people put down the profec b, but I used it for many years and it performed flawlessly. zero issues. i believe it's the most widely used boost controller too. Even the guy I got the unit from said he had issues with the very same unit I used! I'm going to guess people just can't understand the greddy-speak used in the manuals.

Yeah, they don't make turbo kits that you could buy, and then not afford to eat. No wonder you don't like them.

All this means is that they are going through hard times, but they'll still be around. There won't be a huge closeout sale.

Keep buying those knockoffs guys!

This would depend on how they filed for bankruptcy and the laws in Japan. Not really sure how it works over there.

Assuming they could continue on as a separate entity or even under new ownership the declaration of bankruptcy is a real issue. Securing partnerships, materials, means of production, etc...instantly have become much more difficult and closed many doors. Having credit extended to them by not only banks, but also other businesses will be near impossible. Operating on a cash basis is probably where they'll be.

Actually this is good from a economic standpoint. The invisible hand dictated that they were not making enough people to want to buy their product. Ergo they go out of business. Survival of the fittest, somebody else will buy up the models and stock of any decent selling products that they had, and life will go on as usual.

Despite all the crap everone here talks about GReddy, you have to give credit where credit is due. After all, they are the ONLY major aftermarket parts manufacturer to release an FI kit for the RX-8 in the US. I have always found their parts to be of the highest quaity and it such a shame to see this happen to them.

Go do a search for Greddy turbo kit and see how many usable parts come with it. Maybe that will change your tune regarding their quality.

^they did provide a good basis for FI however

you can get a used greddy kit for cheap now and pick up some upgraded parts and still be way ahead of the game

No need to start worrying about your GReddy warranties and whatnot. At least not yet or near future. So chill out!
