this thread is great. ha ha ha. i dissagree with the whole mustangs are ugly, there is nothing wrong with a little American Muscle in your life. of all of my friend who have modded cars in the St louis area i think my mustang gets the most compliments and i prolly the fastest. its known to eat vettes as , and handles very nicely too. dont get me wrong i love my 8, and love the way it looks, but if you want an andrenaline rush, for the money its hard to beat my GT. Its a 2007 Ford Mustang GT Regency, with 20" Foose wheels, lower about an inch all around, custom roadster paint, Foose head lights and front fascia, Foose grille and Fogs, fully functional Mach intake, Ford racing exhaust and headers, a Hurst short throw shifter, and a Hypertech performance chip, and the whole roof is glass.

As the previous owner of two previous Mustangs ('85 GT and a '94 Cobra) I have to chime in. The newest Mustang is a definite improvement from the 99-2004 body style.

Ford got a LOT out of the Mustang considering the previous models, from late 70's until 2004, were based somewhat on the Fairmont with updates every 4-5 years.

I miss my Mustangs sometimes, especially that '85, with that honking Holley 4 bbl, but buying a Ford nowadays is not recommended.
